Called Happiest Faces on Earth ... Disney's Family Album, the art project incorporates photographs submitted by guests into a series of murals of Disney characters. Seen from a distance, a mural will depict, say, a colorful image of Pinocchio. Closer inspection will reveal the tens of thousands of individual photographs that create the overall image.
The huge collages will be displayed throughout the resort during Disneyland's 18-month-long anniversary celebration, which begins May 5, 2005.
