Another maybe not a secret but interesting fact.
For every three trees you see in the Magic Kingdom, there is one tree "behind the scenes" that is the similar size and looks. These trees are kept in case a tree is damaged during a storm it can be replaced at night without anyone knowing it was missing!

There is no replacement for the "Liberty Tree" that I know of. The reason being is that all the other trees in the parks and most of the groomed areas of WDW were nursery raised trees that were planted, The Liberty Tree was found on the WDW property. Someone at Disney saw it and thought it would fit perfectly with the theme of 18th century New England, The tree was carefuly excavated as to not disturb the root system and crated for the move to Liberty Square where is has resides for the past 34 years. One thing many don't know and could be considered a Disney secret, it that when they were moving the tree two holes were drilled near the base of the tree and two dowld rods were then placed in the two holes to support the tree while it was being lifted and lowered from it's location to it's new home. after the move was done the dowld rods were removed and cement was packed in the holes to protect it from pests and deseases. If they have a replacement of that tree some where Ill be suprised, but unfortunatly some day the tree will need to be replaced. The tree is belived to be aroud 130 plus years old
