Pathway In Front Of Magic Kingdom

With the completion of the swing bridge, you can now walk from the Grand Floridian to the Contemporary. Is that possible 24 hours a day, or is the section of pathway in front of the Magic Kingdom closed during certain hours?

With the completion of the swing bridge, you can now walk from the Grand Floridian to the Contemporary. Is that possible 24 hours a day, or is the section of pathway in front of the Magic Kingdom closed during certain hours?

For a start I believe the bridge is opened (ie: inaccessible) overnight.

As for security, before the bridge was built they did have security stopping people who tried running the path early in the morning? I don’t know how early they set up on the path to prevent people trying to get to MK too early. Same at the other side by the boat dock.

Path is inaccessible when MK is closed.

Also note that you must go through security and temperature check when using the path to get from GF to Contemporary (and vice versa.) It’s a good 25-30 minute walk from resort to resort.
