As soon as we enter the park it becomes pretty clear we’re in afternoon gridlock. First, we stop to have our picture taken. Just Kidding!
We walk briskly over to ToT and RnRC for fast pass. Decisions, Decisions. We decide on the RnRC pass. 7:30 ride time!
We start checking the ride times . it’s not pretty. Indiana Jones – Standing room only. Mermaid - 60+. GMR - 45 (now I know we’re really in trouble)
Star Tours-10 Min. Ride ST
Exit ST – get on line for Millionaire. “No guarantee you’ll get into the show” cautions the CM to everybody getting on line. We decide to take our chances. It’s Disney after all and magic happens. We don’t even get close. They shut the door with 15 – 20 people ahead of us. Uuuhhh shucks. All’s not lost though. CM starts handing out fast passes to next show to people on line. Disney comes through! Fast passes clutched in our now very sweaty hands (it’s 95+ degrees) we head over to safe bet. Muppets. We get there just in time to miss most of pre-show and sail right in. I still enjoy it.
Exit Muppets and back to Millionaire for our fast pass entrance. Pretty good show. The guy in front of us got called to the hot seat for the second round and came up just two questions short of the 1,000,000 points. “ Is a gusso an art supply or a desert lizard”. Funny, the stranger he called didn’t know either. I forget what the answer was. The guy won 10 pins and a cap.
Exit Millionaire
More Disney magic. We can get another fast pass so we decide to go for RnRC. We want to ride twice and we figure the ToT may ease up ( it doesn't). As we approach RnRC fast pass machine sign says all fast passes gone and machines are covered. There a CM hanging over one of the machines so I figure can’t hurt. “Any chance of getting a fast pass” I try not to beg. “How many do you need?” says he. Four. “Here you go”, says he as he peels four passes out of a couple he is holding. Thank You! We now can get our fast passes for ToT (still 45 Min stand by)
By now we can ride RnRC on our first fast pass. (I’m confused too!) great ride always a rush.
Exit RnRC and head over to GMR. Sign says 15 Min but it ends up being a half hour. It away was seems to take longer then I’d expect. Made it’s the double queue or something. Anyway, place looks fresher but we didn’t notice any changes in the spiel. Still OK.
Exit GMR and do ToT on fast pass I don’t know the sequences but we got a good one. It’s now about 8:40. We decide to do the 9:00 O’clock Fantasmic show, followed by our second fast pass ride on the RnRC. Alas, standing room only. Family conference. No way we’re going to stand they say . It’s the 10:30 show! By now I’m toast but outvoted. So we do the only thing we can. Grab some more fast passes to the ToT. Ride RnRC. Ride ToT,. See Fantasmic. While watching Fantasmic it hits me that we left out car at Magic Kingdom what seems like a week ago. Exit Park. Grab bus to TTC. We all fall asleep in the bus. The kids carry me to the car. Tomorrow: Mission Space?
