Anyone know where they store the holiday parades? Did they scrap the costume parade?

If I had to bet I'd say that Festival of Fantasy will either run later, or twice per day (normal time and then at night) through the end of 2016. Then at some point in January or February, Paint the Night would come to the Magic Kingdom.

The parade building is behind the Indiana Jones stunt show/Backlot Express. At one point, it was slated for demolition when Star Wars was planned for the Echo Lake area, but when SW was moved to around LMA/SoA then they have remained. I would imagine the Pixar parade is still sitting there in the building gathering dust.

I've never seen a parade at WDW other then the Frozen Royal Welcome thing, what is the parade route? I'm just curious

One possibility is WOC goes down for a small refurb while MESP plays at DCA.

Duh. Good point -- it's certainly possible that MSEP ends up at DCA, not DL, right? It's been there before.....

If PTN stays it seems Disneyland would have a storage issue.

They also have the Christmas floats, but that building is huge

As of now it's not coming...it's wishful thinking on my part but much like the New York Lotto, hey you never know.

The Parks Blog said Disneyland Resort, not Disneyland Park but they also said don't forget to see MSEP one more time at Walt Disney World Resort, not Magic Kingdom park. So who knows

Im not sure if its going to be a NEW show but Im hearing there might be updates opening in summer 2017. We currently don't have fan anymore for construction but that portion was announced to be completed by then. But I'm not betting on anything given WDWs situation with ROL.

Someone brought up a good point I saw online. WDW used to have 5 parades throughout its parks. Now they'll be down to 1...

DL will have 4 between the two parks if PTN stays there.

I remember when all the parks at WDW used to have a daytime parade.

My best guess would be PTN coming in the new year. There is for sure some smoke here. Apparently decisions are being made quickly and without people being made aware ahead of time. Magic Kingdom will have plenty of entertainment from now until the end of the year. But come the new year if there isn't a replacement? That would be shameful. Fingers crossed.

So is this there way of trying to get more people to go to DAK at night by getting rid of it. Besides refurbs when was the last time MK didn't have a nighttime parade.

Its a 1995 parade. Also been sitting in storage for some time.

If I remember correctly it as made by the same people behind Spectromagic and Fantasmic.

It makes no sense at all that MK will be with out a nighttime parade. With all,the revenu they get from people sitting and waiting for this thing every night I am shocked.

The castle show is not enough to make that many people stick around.
