My vote would be Jambo, BW and then AOA.
AKL is our fave "home" resort and there is nothing like the theme and the serenity it offers you from crazy days in the parks. And don't believe the hoopla about the busing not being great there, we've never had a problem with it. Also in a 1BR you have laundry in villa in case there's a need to wash the kiddos clothes, and theres a full kitchen so you can save money on breakfasts etc.

Boardwalk is nice if you want to be close to EPCOT, and also the fact that like a previous poster said you and the hubby can go sit on the porch/balcony after the kids fall asleep and enjoy yourselves w/o fear of waking them.

AoA would be my last choice.

Good luck and have fun! If you should want to talk about AK villas, it's me and DBF's home resort, and we've been there many times, we also stayed at Boardwalk for part of our trip a few months ago so I could talk to you about there too! :)

I think that the OP's challenge is that there are three different "bed times." It's not just the kids going to bed before the adults, it's one kid going to bed very early, then the other kid going to bed, then finally the adults. I wouldn't want to be trapped on the balcony with a four year old when the baby goes down for the night.

I have a 3 year old and a 4 month old... They both go to bed around 8 every night... But on vacation the baby will probably fall asleep in the stroller around normal bedtime and the 3 year old will go to bed as soon as we get back to the hotel... Disney is very tiring... What I was trying to say is that they'll probably both be tired as soon as they get back to the hotel. That's why I asked OP if they are planning to go back early at night time.

Thank you! The 1 BR would be a standard in Jambo House- any suggestions on making room requests? The laundry is such a good point. It would help me pack a little lighter.
I did go ahead and make a reservation for Sanaa because they had an opening at a good time, and I figured if I may be switching there, that would be a good choice. Would really like to try and book some of the other spots, so any recs on your favorites would be nice.
Thank you again! I love someone who loves to talk resorts with me.

I get what you mean. Who knows what will happen with their bed time. I guess I picture the 14 month old passing out when we get to the room, and winding down with the 4 year old watching TV for 30 min-an hour.

We do plan on coming back to the resort early a few days and spending some time there. I really wish our budget allowed us to take an extra day!

I totally get it... It's totally up in the air. Does the 4 year old still nap? We have not been on vacation with my littlest one yet and we're planning a trip to Disney this August when she'll be 9 months old... I am totally assuming that my (then) 3.5 year old will be going to bed at the same time as her (which is right when we get back). My 3 year old has been to Disney 4 times and the only time we've watched tv is in the morning when we're all getting ready... At night she's been exhausted... but trust me, I have enough friends with little ones to know that they're all different and do different things. You know your kids the best and I think Jambo is a wonderful choice!

You're welcome, feel free to PM me to discuss anything regarding AKL that you'd like such as room requests. Also, be aware that Sanaa is over at Kidani which is a 10-15 min walk from Jambo or you can go to the front entrance to the lobby and they run a shuttle van between the two. :)
