Outside food inside Disney park

Dear Forum,

I was just wondering if anyone know what kind of outside food can you bring into Disney Parks other than baby food

And if the parks allow food delivery from non Disney restaurants to the main entrance of the park (I know they don’t allow you to resell stuff inside the parks) but are you allowed to deliver takeout food and drink to the main gate of the parks?

On their official website it states as long as it is not alcohol or anything with glass containers it should be fine to bring into the parks

What if that’s say I order takeout/delivery Chinese food and Bubble Tea, am I allowed to bring it into the parks?

I believe Animal Kingdom doesn’t allow you to bring in drinks that requires a straw but it doesn’t mention any other restriction for other parks

If anyone knows the details could you kindly let me know exactly what outside Disney allow you to bring into the parks?

Many thanks for you help

I read the title and panicked. I thought there for a minute that I never knew there was such a thing as outside food. Things just rushed through my head like maybe hot dogs were considered an outside food. whew!

I would not think it would be practical at all. The closest they could drive to would be the parking lot at the TTC, and then there would be the issue of paying for parking just to get into the lot. I can't see them going through the security check with a big pizza box....

To my limited knowledge, gleaned by what I have read on these boards as long as it isn't in a glass bottle or anything breakable, no one will stop you from bringing stuff in. Carrying it around until mealtime might be a hassle, but, it has been done before. Best to have stuff that is none perishable. It can get pretty hot in Florida. Egg salad or tuna might be on the edge of the envelope. Peanut butter and jam should work though and if you bring drinks, remember, not in glass bottles and no straws in DAK.

Really no straws? They had paper straws at AK a while back. They kinda took me back to childhood sitting in a soda fountain drinking a sarsaparilla through a paper straw. Are they gone all together now?

To be honest... I don't know the answer to that. All I know is that last I heard straws were not allowed. I don't know if they were referring to paper or plastic.

It was about 8 years ago when we got the paper straws. My thought was, since it was in AK, plastic would be bad for the animals if they swallowed them where paper deteriorates almost before you are done with your drink.

Just so you know it will be impossible to get food delivered to magic Kingdom. There is no public road that goes to the gate. So you out of luck on that one.

The other 3 are possible but I would think that is embarrassing. Lol.

And probably more expensive then just buying food at the park. The park is expensive, but, by the time you paid for delivery and tip you would be shelling out a lot of cash.

There's lots of pizza places that deliver (cast members often have Pizza Hut or Domino's delivered) but they need a physical street address and contact. It's easy when it's cast because they get drive-on clearance to deliver backstage but not so easy for a guest. There would be nowhere for the driver to park, etc. They also deliver to hotel guests all the time. We've had late night pizza delivered to Contemporary, WL and DAK Lodge.

There's hundreds of restaurants all over Disney. No delivery food in Orlando is going to be markedly better or worth the trouble to order in. Totally understand if you'd want to bring in something though. Publix subs are amazing.

If Domino's shows up at the entrance of the MK with six pies and says "I'm delivering to some guy named Joe over by Space Mountain" well that probably isn't going to happen.

This reminds me of when a Domino's delivery guy knocked on the door of my math class Freshman year of high school with a bunch of pizzas and said someone ordered the pizzas for delivery to this room. Our teacher told the delivery guy he had the wrong place ... at which point a student stood up and said "Nope, right place ... I ordered them." This kid then paid the delivery guy and started passing out slices.

It's now my goal in life to find a spot in Via Napoli and have me a pizza delivered there by Domino's.
Lol hey no dissing the Via ;)

Op most close to wdw places won't deliver to the parks, we tried 2 years ago. Now that is not to say all. As a previous poster mention the issue is access and being worth their while. One guy told me he has to spend 10 minutes at the parking toll booth explaining he is not there to park but to make a delivery. All for a 3 buck tip. His words. I would get it delivered ti your resort and bring it with you

MY OPINION...
I don't think Disney would allow a food delivery to the parks during your park day. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from with varied food options! AND, Disney would not be making money...so NO!

You can absolutely bring food/drink with you into the parks. Obviously, they'd prefer you didn't (for obvious reasons). No glass, no alcohol and just to be safe, hide your straws at AK (they use paper/recyclable now). And no, you can't have a pizza delivered to a park. A resort, sure.
