Re-live the moment with race car driver Jim Douglas discovered the Volkswagen bug with a mind of its own! He fixes Herbie up before realizing the type of driving the bug can do! Using slightly less developed technology than Test Track (which opened in 1998), guests will feel Herbie accelerate to 60 mph to try to beat the fastest drivers in the world at the “El Dorado” race in Mexico.

Escape From Dagobah
Dagobah_890df592.jpeg

Set between the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular and Star Tours, Escape From Dagobah is an unforgettable misadventure of mystery and danger. Similar to the Rise of the Resistance in 2019/20, riders go from a Rebel Outpost and escorted to a Rebel Cruiser, only to be ambushed by the Empire and to be forced to hide in the nearby planet of Dagobah in their escape shuttles; which would be enclosed and suspended much like TDS' 20K Leagues. Evading both Imperial ground troops and the monsters that inhabit this swampy world, riders would also come face-to-face with a mysterious and small green figure who wards off a fierce dragonsnake in the ride's climax.

CRIMESTOPPERS: STREETS OF RAGE

Inspired by the never-to-be-attraction, Crimestoppers: Street of Rage sends guests on a wild race through the streets of LA, playing the role of either cops or gangsters to defend or oppose the Prohibition, zooming through an incredible thrill ride that feels like a fusion of Radiator Spring Racers and Roger Rabbit's Car-Toon Spin!

BONUS:
It's true wherever you find love, it feels like Christmas...

The Mouse House

Head to the hottest night club that hosts the most popular celebrities in town on Sunset Blvd: The Mouse House. This new high-speed E-Ticket dark ride takes guests through an abandoned 1920's nightclub that is haunted with the ghosts of fictional celebrities from that time period. That glitz and glam of Hollywood night life combines with the thrill and scariness of ghost lore in this brand new attraction opening at in Disney-MGM Studios in 1994.

Why is it called The Mouse House?

rooms as Toons will make cameos such as Genie, Bugs Bunny, Goofy, Scooby Doo, the Jetsons, Lena Hyena and many others. This family version of Tower of Terror
make you like spinning into the road. Opened in 1995 part of Roger Rabbit's Hollywood at Disney-MGM Studios.
This is a neat concept but is a previous project in SYWTBAI, down to the concept art even, so unless this was your idea from that game I'm not sure how to review this

Roger Rabbit’s Wacky Hollywood Spin
View attachment 603857
After Roger Rabbit’s success with his Car Toon Spin over at Disneyland in California, Roger wished he could be big, and in 1994 at Disney’s MGM Studios he finally gets it! Located where the Sunset Showcase Theater (Cars attraction) is located in our world, Roger Rabbit’s Wacky Hollywood Spin is an enhanced successor of the original DL attraction where you ride on Benny the Cab (who would become trackless in 2016) through the streets of Hollywood. This ride serves the niche of a kid-friendly attraction in Sunset Boulevard, and yes, you smash through an anvil!

Bonus: The Proposal

I think this attraction, albeit repetitive from DL, would be a fun enhancement to MGM and I do like how you plus the attraction throughout the years

Roger Rabbit's Hollywood

Opening in 1994 for Disney-MGM Studios, as Disney and Steven Spielberg's dealing after Roger Rabbit II: Toon Platoon releasing in 1994. Based on Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The guests will visiting Maroon Studios and Toontown, it will have attractions: Toontown Transit, Roger Rabbit's Wacky Hollywood Spin, Baby Herman's Runaway Baby Buggy Ride, Toon Coaster (based on RollerCoaster Rabbit) and Toontown Tower Hotel. You can also visiting ACME gag factory which has interactive ACME gag products such as anvils, TNTs, safes, sound effects from boxes, and more.

This is my second idea, guys.
This idea is more original than the first and I quite like it as it adds a well rounded IP to the park lineup

The Mask: One Wild Ride!

View attachment 603879

Eisner loved teaming up with franchises that were outside the Disney Bubble for MGM Studios expansions (Star Wars, Muppets, Twilight Zone, MGM, Ninja Turtles, etc), so for the next E-Ticket he looked for something out of the box.

At the time, Jim Carrey was riding an insane hot streak with 3 HUGE hits in 1994 (Ace Ventura, The Mask, and Dumb & Dumber) establishing as a big movie star known for the kind of wacky, irreverent humor Eisner has always been a fan of.

So, next to Tower of Terror, Disney rushed into production a new extreme indoor rollercoaster blending humor with thrills using simple, stylistic blacklight cut out visuals (similar to Rockin' Rollercoaster) that takes guests from a normal cocktail party into the wacky ride of their lives right through the mind of The Mask!

Bonus!
Well this would be fitting for Eisner indeed, especially in the 90s. Ace Ventura was actually in MGM too! (shocking I know)

Slapstick Stunt Cars

work-blu-ray-05.jpg

Adding to the thrills on Sunset Boulevard at Disney-MGM Studios is this madcap roller coaster ride, where guests step into the role of stuntmen at a 1930s film studio, hopping behind the wheel for a slapstick car chase scene that goes off-script and all over the studio lot!

Bonus: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Terror of the Technodrome
I really like this concept - it fits with the Sunset aesthetic but also adds another thrill to the park - great job!

Chase on Crime Street
1509401971-0.jpg

L.A., 1920's - You're driving down the streets on the dark side of town, having heard of a big heist, but thinking that it shouldn't affect you... until you find yourself smack dab in the middle of the resulting chase! Opening at Disney-MGM Studios on Sunset Boulevard, this high-speed dark ride puts guests into a scene straight out of the classic gangster movies of old (hopefully without getting full of lead!).

For the bonus
Well just as I say I like something associated with the 1930s - @b-wolf95 takes us even further back to the 1920s! I do think a car chase type attraction was in the cards at one point for MGM - and I concur it would have been a fitting addition to the park. So this dark ride attraction is something that would be right up my alley and would be a great extension of the Great Movie Ride.

And here's another racing concept! With an IP in Herbie that would be something unique for the park and original among theme park attractions. And given it's only a couple of years before Test Track this type of technology would be ripe for the age.

Well it's hard to top Star Wars - you make a compelling case here, I think an expansion of Star Wars in the parks in the early-mid 90s would have set a different course for MGM Studios - might be a fun 'what if' concept to do in the future!

Nevertheless, this would be a welcome addition
