The Changing Earth
View attachment 603231
This Omnimover ride, as an extension to the Land pavilion, highlights how the earth has changed over time since the one continent of Pangea. Through dioramas (with some Audio Animatronics) and video segments, guests will see how things like tectonic plates, erosion, and glaciers impact the geography and climates of the world. At the end, guests will see how humans in modern times interact with the environment—sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse.
Ah now this was kinda what I was thinking for Evil's concept! This would be a great addition to the Land and take what is explained via the Symbiosis or Circle of Life theater show - and turning it into a dark ride! Heck you could even have the theater be the exit queue for the ride much like the old Maelstrom used to have.

Vistas of Nature
land-pavilion-epcot-center-model-d23-expo-disney-overhead-2013.jpg

A revisit of the original idea for the pavilion, Vistas of Nature is a new dark ride coming to The Land pavilion that takes guests across several of the Earth's biomes to show how nature thrives in all kinds of extremes. (Note that this will not replace Living with the Land. The boat ride will instead have it's dark ride segments rethemed to be more about man's relation to nature, in order to prevent overlap with Vistas of Nature.)

For the bonus
Ah you're touching Living with the Land! My favorite. I do like how this attraction is going back to the original roots of EPCOT Center while moving it forward with the dark ride setting.

Mechanical Mayhems
Modern-Times_141_big.jpg

Replacing the Transportation Pavilion the Mechanical Pavilion would be a more broad approach to mechanical technologies; set apart from the others for its kinetic, industrial feel. The new attraction itself takes place on a tour of the Robotic Works, exploring the night and majesty of machinery, with even the queue also having various interactive and non-interactive mechanical designs and machines and even some early examples of robotics such as the Digesting Duck and Mechanical Turk and some larger than life examples of machines being “built” on ride. But a mechanical failure with one of the robots controlling the junction sends riders on this suspended family coaster hair raising experience deep in the heart of the factory, including a backwards section like on the future Hagrid’s or Everest.
Bonus: The Proposal
I like the inclusion of kinetics and while replacing a beloved pavilion I think this attraction would bring the thrill factor but also be able to stand the test of time with is original concept - similar to Imagination.

Ride the Sun!

HD-wallpaper-roller-coaster-backdropped-by-sunset-during-golden-hour-sun-amusement-park-golden-our-roller-coaster-golden-coaster-sunset-sky.jpg

Universe of Energy, long considered EPCOT Center's weakest link, gets a modern upgrade in this indoor roller coaster powered solely on solar energy. The point of this rollercoaster, apart from teaching about non-fossil fuel forms of energy, is to showcase how powerful these alternative forms of energy can be, even more so than fossil fuels. We even sail past the sun at one point, feeling its great heat!
I like the concept of this coaster here! And it'll save Disney some money on the A/C;)

Thank you everyone for the proposals! With that said, as with many of these One Sentence Comps, the margin between submissions is always so thin as there were many great proposals, but here were some favorites!

Chase on Crime Street
1509401971-0.jpg

L.A., 1920's - You're driving down the streets on the dark side of town, having heard of a big heist, but thinking that it shouldn't affect you... until you find yourself smack dab in the middle of the resulting chase! Opening at Disney-MGM Studios on Sunset Boulevard, this high-speed dark ride puts guests into a scene straight out of the classic gangster movies of old (hopefully without getting full of lead!).

Roger Rabbit’s Wacky Hollywood Spin
BA74AA7B-C1E1-4BC3-B09F-0E12AE1D9C3A.jpeg

After Roger Rabbit’s success with his Car Toon Spin over at Disneyland in California, Roger wished he could be big, and in 1994 at Disney’s MGM Studios he finally gets it! Located where the Sunset Showcase Theater (Cars attraction) is located in our world, Roger Rabbit’s Wacky Hollywood Spin is an enhanced successor of the original DL attraction where you ride on Benny the Cab (who would become trackless in 2016) through the streets of Hollywood. This ride serves the niche of a kid-friendly attraction in Sunset Boulevard, and yes, you smash through an anvil!

The Mask: One Wild Ride!

1638201633377.png

Eisner loved teaming up with franchises that were outside the Disney Bubble for MGM Studios expansions (Star Wars, Muppets, Twilight Zone, MGM, Ninja Turtles, etc), so for the next E-Ticket he looked for something out of the box.

At the time, Jim Carrey was riding an insane hot streak with 3 HUGE hits in 1994 (Ace Ventura, The Mask, and Dumb & Dumber) establishing as a big movie star known for the kind of wacky, irreverent humor Eisner has always been a fan of.

So, next to Tower of Terror, Disney rushed into production a new extreme indoor rollercoaster blending humor with thrills using simple, stylistic blacklight cut out visuals (similar to Rockin' Rollercoaster) that takes guests from a normal cocktail party into the wacky ride of their lives right through the mind of The Mask!

Bonus!
