Oasis of Kings -- Ra's Midnight Voyage

In a new expansion to Holiday World's water park Splashin' Safari, Oasis of Kings is an Egyptian-themed addition, where guests may go on a thrilling river adventure on Ra's Midnight Voyage -- following the Egyptian god of the sun on his daily journey through the Duat spirit world, encountering gods, monsters, and restless spirits along the way.
I’m a sucker for anything Egyptian Mythology. This sounds similar to a ride I wrote for an unpublished Epcot New Pavilions.

EL RIO DE XIBALBA

belize-caves-branch-river.jpg

Xcaret Park, an aquatic ecopark nestled in Mexico’s lush Yucatán coastal jungles, invites explorers to spelunk through the reserve’s naturally-forming cenote sinkhole caverns on a self-guided kayaking adventure deep down underground rivers into a mythical Mayan underworld. Kayakers will witness genuine archeological finds displayed in situ, they will view iguanas in their natural habitat, they will float past watery sacrificial chambers, with these sights and more all a part of Xcaret’s authentic, wholly unsimulated heritage!

Waterworld: The Slide
DSC05045.jpg

This new IP based slide will give a new backstory to the Waterworld story, tying it in with the rest of the water park and keeping the popular show in the parks timeless by distancing it somewhat from the movie flop. Guests ride down a steampunk looking slide as they nearly avoid canons, "bombs", and other weapons from the bad guys that splash down on them as they escape the villains' clutches to reach newly found land (which turns out to be Volcano Bay).

On the new Rub-A-Dub Tub attraction at Splash Zone Water Park in Wildwood, NJ - away go troubles down the drain while your family cools off and finds out where all the water goes when you pull the plug!

You begin in a giant, tranquil bathtub shaped/themed pool - joining a sea of inflatable rubber ducky rafts - but as the water level appears to go down (superficial walls go up) your ducky starts heading for “the drain,” which puts you into the enclosed “plumbing” extended slide, eventually letting you splash down into the “city reservoir” - before you hit the concessions for a multi-scoop kitchen s… er, bathtub sundae.

Waterboggan.jpg

This summer, in celebration of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, we turn Bay Lake into one giant waterpark, where guests (up to five at a time) can book WATERBOGGANING EXCURSIONS, culminating in an up-close pass of the Magic Kingdom on Seven Seas Lagoon. Departing every half-hour from Wilderness Lodge, experience a thrilling and picturesque encircling of Discovery Island on the back of an inflatable Waterboggan, towed by an experienced power boat pilot.

Skull Island Riverway

Skull-Island-Reign-of-Kong-Entrance.jpg

An underground riverway has opened up at Universal's Volcano Bay, sending guests on a high-speed voyage to Skull Island from 2005's King Kong. Grab a tube and shoot through the underground tunnel, finding yourself twisting and turning through a watery cavern that just might bring you face to face with some of the legendary island's creepy-crawlers.

I love your descriptions, I could really visualize it.

Surf's up imagineers, the second challenge is among us here at One Sentence Competition: Summer Fun! For this challenge you're all tasked with creating a whole new attraction, but the catch? Well what would be some summer fun without time in the waterparks! That's right for this challenge you must design a new water based attraction for any waterpark of your choosing! That's right any waterpark! Feel free to utilize Disney's waterparks or Seaworld's or Universal's or Six Flag's or Cedar Fair's or even your local water park! The ocean is the limit for your choice.

-Tips-
K.I.S.S. – Keep it simple, silly. Try not to complicate or overthink things too much. It’s a simple, casual competition – there are no eliminations. Propose as you please, let your imagination soar!

-Judging Criteria-
Is it creative?
Is it (generally) realistic?
Does it fit thematically/visually?

Good luck everyone! If you have questions, please feel free to ask! Enjoy!
Thought I’d look up some water slides for some inspiration.

They may be on to something with this one :angelic:

Blauerhimmel's Linn
latest

Coinciding with the opening of DisneySky, Walt Disney World’s Blizzard Beach has added Boreal Basin; a mini-land based on the Scandinavian fjords of the S.E.A.’s Discovery Glacier; with Blauerhimmel's Linn as the headliner attraction in a realm of frozen up steampunk machinery and frost coated Victorian buildings. Blauerhimmel's Linn is a hydromagnetic slide similar to Volcano Bay's Krakatau Aqua Coaster, where guests ride canoes through the mountain’s winding turbulent river; once braved by aeronaut Rudolph Blauerhimmel himself when his hot air balloon fell into the rapids; before taking a narrow plunge through iridescent ice caverns down into a lagoon of shipwrecks both aquatic and aerial in nature.

Bessie’s Revenge

View attachment 648597

Utilizing the space underneath and around Magnum XL-200 is Bessie’s Revenge, an entirely enclosed white water rafting adventure that brings Cedar Point Shores to the forefront in themed water adventures. The year is 1912, and guests at the Cedar Point resort are taking a relaxing, perhaps romantic night time cruise on the lagoons that criss-cross the peninsula when a sudden storm hits the resort, churning the normally placid waters of the lagoons into a raging torrent and sweeping Bessie, the legendary Lake Erie monster, into the center of Cedar Point, where it attacks the guests in their rafts in anger as it tries to find its way out of the lagoons and back into the surrounding lake.
James writing a max of 2 sentences might have been the most challenging project he has ever submitted
