One Sentence Competition: Summer Fun

Design a new theme park takeover for the summer for any theme park.

-Rules-
- Please keep in mind what IPs whatever theme park you choose currently has access to.
- You may use between 1 to 2 sentences and up to 1 image.
- If you breach any of these rules your project will be disqualified, and will not be counted for rankings nor will it receive a review from me.
- The deadline is Friday, June 24th at 10:00 PM EST.

-Tips-
K.I.S.S. – Keep it simple, silly. Try not to complicate or overthink things too much. It’s a simple, casual competition – there are no eliminations. Propose as you please, let your imagination soar!

-Judging Criteria-
Is it creative?
Is it (generally) realistic?
Does it fit thematically/visually?

Phineas and Ferb's Epcot Takeover

With the Disney+ success of Candace vs. the Universe, imagineers thought it would be fit to bring back the beloved characters to Epcot with a summer long takeover! Crossovers include the tempoary reinduction of Agent P's World Showcase Adventure, a temporary makeover of Soarin' into Phineas and Ferb's Soarin' over Danville, and the permanent reinduction of the upstairs Imageworks themed to inventions and other fun tech made by P&F.

Doofenshmirtz's Drink-inator is a cool mix of fizzy grape soda and virgin blueberry daiquri to make a drink so delicious, cool, and refreshing it could take over the world!

Bonus: Frozen Banana-Rama

Even Gru knows how hot the summer can be, so he's whipped up a special drink that the Minions are all eagerly lining up for: the Frozen Banana-Rama, a banana-flavored frozen drink topped with a whip cream foam top. You can have it plain, make it a "Banana-Rama Boom!" with pop rocks covering the whip cream, or go "Villain-Approved" with some rum mixed in.

Okay this drink sounds amazing, and I would 100% be getting the full package Villian-Approved rum and the Banana-Rama Boom topping sound so great. However, to get the bonus point you unfortunately only receive an additional sentence. Perhaps a semicolon and some restructuring could get you there?

eheheheh hey lois Coming soon to any and every Disney park is the new family guy event summer of cutaways (tm), where guests can listen to the family guy theme on repeat all day long, meet everyon’s favorite family the griffins, and even ride cutaway mountain (spoiler it features an epic chicken fight), this is sure to be an experience and everyone will remember for good.

Cinematic Splashdown at Volcano Bay

With two major films in theaters, the Tribute Store in Universal Studios Florida being themed to a movie theater playing some classic films, and Universal's Great Movie Escape coming in the fall, Universal's next move for a cinematic celebration is to bring iconic movie characters to Volcano Bay. With sand sculptures in front of the entrances, a Minions Luau themed dance party, unforgettable and fantastical movies playing on Waturia Beach at night, and nods, easter eggs, and references from banners, decals, and statues made from bamboo and fabric depicting icons such as the Delorean and Woody Woodpecker in the style of Volcano Bay's Waturi people to a constellation of E.T. and Elliot in the lazy river tunnel; with the iconic E.T. theme being played and even a half buried Barbasol can in the Rainforest Village section with a hidden Dilophosaurus figure emerging from the bushes to spray water at curious visitors, Cinematic Splashdown at Volcano Bay lets visitors soak up the movies.

Bonus: Sweet Reel-axations​

Served at the Dancing Dragons Boat Bar, Sweet Reel-axations is a nonalcoholic slush that takes the already beloved orange cream and mixes it with the tartness of kiwifruits and the sweetness of grapes and is also topped with Tropical Swedish Fish and a candy stick shaped and patterned to look like a movie reel strip.

Peter Quill’s EPCOT Festival of the Summer

Join Peter Quill and other famous Marvel heroes (that Disney can legally do, such as Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel) as they celebrate the summer in style, featuring new experiences in World Discovery and World Nature, where Stephen Strange, Carol Danvers, Shang-Chi, Moonknight, and many others come together to help Peter Quill celebrate his first summer since ‘88.

Of course, with the festival being put together by the Legendary Star-Lord, don’t be surprised if you see some tributes to some of forlorn favorites, where you can see EPCOT through the lens of Peter Quill with references to classics such as Horizons, the Energy Dinosaurs, and the Veggie Veggie Fruit Fruit, that will leave you saying “EPCOT’s the best” after your day is done.

SPLATOON SUMMER at SUPER NINTENDO WORLD

Coming to all the parks with Super Nintendo Worlds, this will be a event taking over Super Nintendo World with food trucks specializing in Japanese street food, interactive Splattershots to color buildings, an Inkopolis overlay for Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge, and a special concert by the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook every night followed by fireworks.

Bonus: Squid Slushes

Frosty paint bucket cupped slushes with four flavors. Callie (Raspberry), Marie (Green Apple), Pearl (Peach) and Marina (Lemon-Lime)

Here at Six Flags Great Adventure, you'll getting enter the Joker's deadly traps in his carnival of death, as like Harley Quinn's Terror of Love, The Joker's Funhouse and Clowns of the Crimes. This Fright Fest season brings the guests to riding the Joker, 4D Free-Fly Coaster and Harley Quinn's Crazy Train many times before the Joker plans to kill them all not even Batman may not save Gotham City in time.

I'd love to see the old people get in on the act in their Travolta suits. There might be more gray and jiggling parts than back in the old days though.

Since Walt Disney World perhaps does not "take as kindly" to overlays as her sister, Disneyland, this Tangled Summer at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World will be subtle, but emphasize and work in concert with Florida's local summer "pet," the iguana.

In addition to topiaries of the arguably underrepresented characters at the entrance of the park, the hub (where lanterns will be strung up and timed to light at appropriate times during Enchantment) and near the Tangled restrooms (where Rapunzel's hair will be seen cascading down from her tower at random times throughout the day) there will be a storyline that Pascal has strayed beyond his usual hiding places, and you'll be able to find him blending in at the nearby Pirates of the Caribbean attraction scenes, Haunted Mansion graveyard, the Jungle Cruise, and the queues of Peter Pan's Flight and It's A Small World - not to mention live vignettes performed in the area between Fantasyland and Liberty Square!

Bonus: a special cocktail served at Skipper Canteen - The Green Iguana, a refreshing frozen treat containing equal parts Midori melon liqueur, tequila, and sour mix (lemonade) with a squeeze of lime, garnished with a spiraled lime rind resembling Pascal's tail.

Summer in the City

Coming this summer to Las Vegas' Adventuredome theme park is a one of a kind, adults only summer event based on Frank Miller's neo-noir comic, Sin City. This after dark event features walk around characters, unique menu items and numerous changes to the park including updated exterior roof lighting with the sin city logo, muted interior lighting to match the comics, staged comic flat sets around the park and overlays and updates to various attractions like the Bank Heist Laser Challenge, VR Room and Canyon Blaster Coaster.

Among the popular specialty drink offerings is the Sin City Cooler, a bright red cranberry margarita with glowing ice cubes that is a standout hit in the dark comic world theming of Sin City.​
