On site stay take the bus or drive car to parks

For me personally, I drive a lot on a daily basis. I mean, a ton. And we usually drive to Walt Disney World as well. When we get there, I like to park the car and leave it. Normally, the only time we move it for the entirety of our vacation is to go to church on Sunday morning. I am quite content to take Disney transportation everywhere and not have to drive.

For others, though, I know they don't care for Disney transportation and/or prefer to use their own car.

I think it all comes down to what your personal preference is. With either form of transportation, if you know what you're doing and plan correctly, you can get where you're going and get there when you want to be there. It's just what works best for you personally.

I used to be more of a “driver”...but have gotten lazy in life.

Buses suck...but what are you gaining by not using them?
I do drive still to springs, blizzard and typhoon...sometimes Epcot depending on which side I’m going to and where I’m staying

Thanks, as on site guests there is no parking fee at the parks but I had forgotten to get to MK from the parking lot you have to go to the transportation center (more wait time) so it looks like we will take the bus from POFQ to MK and as Capt America suggested take our own car to the other parks for eraly hours for on site guests. So. the earlier you get to the parks do you get to park closer to the entrance or are there special lots for this group or that group?
Money permitting, we would ALWAYS prefer to rent a car and drive to all the parks (and Disney Springs) except for MK because of the TTC. Yes, the earlier you arrive at the park, the closer you will park. But often if you arrive late in the day, close spots will have opened up again.

I take public transportation all the time at home, so on the whole I don't actually mind Disney buses too much. I didn't like that OKW and SSR seemed to share a stop at AK though. Maybe because it was past park closing? But it was slightly annoying.

Well buses drop you off in front, but good god they go soooo slow and get caught at every single red light. It’s like they are on a mission to time things just right to approach the intersection as the light turns yellow. And if I’m going to MK, etc., I swear 13 buses headed for Typhoon Lagoon will come through before my bus gets there.

So I tend to drive my car. But then you have to take trams and walk extra, so really I’m never happy or satisfied. I generally like complaining about it. If they changed anything I’d probably complain about that too.
