Definitely believe OHana is a must for us on our next trip. Especially if we stay at the Poly. The question is do we do breakfast or dinner? I see the breakfast menu being more friendly for myself and my daughter. Thoughts?

Sorry to jump in, but does ohana dinner have a kid menu or no? I want to eat there for dinner really bad, but online doesn't show a kid menu and my boys are picky eaters and probably wouldn't like the dinner food. With that said, breakfast there is always a must do for us very trip! That juice :hungry:

For us...dinner is the hands down winner.

We've done breakfast once and while the service was great and the character interaction decent...the food was more than just a bit off that day. While the quality of food at dinner can vary, even the worst we've had is significantly better than our breakfast food experience. Our last 'Ohana dinner experience was excellent food-wise. Now, we've discussed before how my girls are not picky eaters...so it's easier to book it without hesitation. I remember our first visit- both girls loved the shrimp so much that it wasn't until round 3 of meat until I got to eat (peeling shrimp!). Still, I have read stories of kids getting chicken nuggets if the kids refused all of the other traditional food offerings. In fact, while I can't guarantee 'Ohana will allow you any of these things...I did find a site that said the following can be brought out for the kids at 'Ohana if they're not into the "meat parade."

Children can choose to eat the items listed above, or they can choose from; Chicken Nuggets, Macaroni & Cheese, Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, Hamburger or Cheeseburger. These are all served with French Fries. Includes Sodas or Tea.

Like I said- don't quote me on this, but sounds like there's at least a chance you can at least order something for Cade if she isn't into the rest.

*Edit- another option...Do both :)

Thanks Sandy! I am hoping by the time she is 7 and we take this trip her food horizons will have broadened significantly. We are working on it a great deal and are finding she is finally caving with our determination. So hopefully, this will not be a deciding factor when we are 180 days out. ;)

For me it's dinner, but I have the diet of a puma; meat, meat, meat. I love the dinner menu, for breakfast I would rather go to the Kona Cafe.
This mad me laugh out loud. Diet of a Puma. Hehehehe. For some reason i read it as if Arnold Swarzenager saint it like Tumah but Puuuumah. Hehe

There are also a lot of options, so if she's not a fan of one item, there are many others to tempt her. I mean, between the rolls, salad, noodles, pot stickers, broccoli, chicken wings, beef, pork, chicken, and shrimp- I'm optimistic that she'll find a few things she likes before you get to the bread pudding. :)
