Official WDW source says "M:S is scheduled to open this spring''

According to Eyes and Ears, a WDW CM newspaper, M:S is scheduled to open this spring.

They also say the Mickeys Philharmagic will debut ''later'' this year.

I know that none of this is really news, however it helps to but that screamscape rumor to bed about delays for M:S. If WDW expected delays, would they tell 55,000 of there CM's that it will still be opening in spring.

It is well documented that Screamscape isn't the most reliable. Anyone should always take anything Screamscape posts w/ a grain of salt.

This ride won't open this Spring, there's just no getting around it. The writers of Eyes and Ears really must be getting high on the pixie dust to tell their employees that the ride will open in Spring.

Yeah I'm sick of people passing opinon as fact. Really why would they print that in an official Disney Magazine. If anything they would be conservative with their guess.

Actually, Eyes & Ears is wrong.

According to a CM who is on the Test and Adjust team that I spoke with as I was leaving work today, they are still hoping for a summer opening.

Summer was also quoted in the Eyes & Ears a few months ago from Brad Rex, the VP of Epcot.

Don't forget, the only date that has been offically announced is just "2003." They don't want to have another Test Track on their hands!

All i was tring to do is pass on the news. I read it in the paper, and thought it was important, if you choose to beleive it or not, its up to you. I agree that it could be wrong, but it could as easily be true.

See, it's not an 'offical' one, just one given to CM's, not ment for public distribution. Also, many an 'offical' source stated incorrect data (anyone want to elaborate on the offical WDW site?) which include opening dates.
