I'll be doing a split stay between POP CSR and AoA

For both POP and AoA (little mermaid rooms) I requested a king bed .... I'm not counting on it by any means but I would be very happy if one of these places came through with my request.

Any thoughts or experiences?

Well, based on my experiences I'd say 50-50. That's because I've stayed at value resorts on 2 separate trips. Once I got a king bed, the other time I didn't. The time I did get a king bed, my room was HA accessible and I was told/offered that at check-in. I still wonder-if I'd said no when they offered it to me, would I have gotten a "regular", 2 bed room? I checked in at 10:30 pm, and maybe what they so nicely offered me was all that was available.

Here is what I found for Pop...There are 2,621 rooms with double beds, 115 handicap accessible with double beds, 81 King Bed rooms, and 63 handicap accessible King Bed rooms.

If these numbers are right, and factoring out the handicap accessible rooms, it appears only about 3 percent of the rooms at Pop are king. Good luck.

Could not find the numbers for AoA.

I'm a hotel manager, and while only a small percentage of our rooms are handicap accessible, if we do not have enough reservations that specify accessible rooms we will do what we can to fill them. Many accessible rooms have no bath and a roll
in shower so they are unappealing to many guests. If they don't have enough accessible reservations they will put you in the King accessible room because they know you will be happy with it. I've requested preferred king room at Pop myself, which I believe are all accessible rooms. As far as the regular King...I have no clue.
