I was there today - didn't get any pictures, sorry! But the animal wood carvings that have been there forever - done by the same couple for a long time - are leaving. All items currently 50% off. He said end of this month. Maybe Disney has plans for that real estate but still breaks my heart. That couple has been there for years, and I love collecting the figures. The gentleman was very professional, but it was obvious this wasn't his choice. Argh. I'm so sad.

Interesting- the space they use is relatively small and tucked into the entry ramp area. What could Disney be planning for that small space?!?

Not enough sales?

Seems to be another unique offering that a lot of folks care about when it’s closing.People very rarely take the time to support these places when they’re open.

Of course Tequila is making tons of money so it takes up a lot of space.

Unfortunately Disney is about the almighty dollar at the end of the day so it doesn’t really care if goes.

could they move them to the outside shop? Animal kingdom? Coronado springs?
Great ideas. The artist didn't seem too optimistic yesterday but hopefully they find something for them.
The Mexico pavilion is very large - there is certainly room to keep them if the desire is there.
True. They definitely could. So sad. I am curious what they want to do with the space.

Fix-It Joe: "Vahle thankfully left us a copy of his revenue generation heat map creation program. What's this gigantic bright green dot in Mexico and that tiny red dot?"

College intern: "Tequila sales, sir, but the red is a unique shop offering..."

FIJ: "Shut that red thing down and bring in MORE TEQUILA!!! I can show Josh I get it!"

Very sad to hear… I have multiple of their creations because I loved them so much and enjoyed watching the craft

Update: just sent in a customer service feedback email just to show some support. I know it may not mean much but hey atleast it’s someone saying that they don’t want them to leave/would prefer to relocate rather than say goodbye entirely

I remember some years ago they used to be located in the area before you reach the main ‘marketplace’ inside the Pavillion.
Today, that area has the ‘Coco’ themed displays and the large skeleton statues.

They were then moved into the main ‘marketplace’ area, probably for crowd flow reasons.

Sorry to hear that they are leaving.
I would always walk over to their tables and admire all of the colorful animal carvings.
So detailed and cleverly put together.
