Reported as starting in August, 24th for sure, possibly 21st. I think parties tend to be the same nights each week, Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sun. You could also check the park hours when published, and if MK is scheduled to close @ 6pm it would be reasonable to assume it's for a party.

Last year the dates were announced early April.

Dates on Disney's website point to the 17th as the start date with the 6pm closure. I saw the 21st also had a 6pm close time.
