Since (most) gyms across the US and around the world are closed for time being, I thought I'd share some YouTube fitness channels I use from time to time. Some work outs require some equipment, but if you look around each channel, you'll see there are equipment free workouts. A few channels even have apartment workouts, so you don't raise the ire of your downstairs neighbor.

Also, if you see workouts you want to try, but you don't have weights. Get creative and use what you have on hand--canned goods, water and milk bottles, a toddler. :p

This is list is yoga-heavy 🧘‍♀️, since it's what I do most. Maybe you're thinking, "But, Sans Souci, yoga is for dirty, pot-smoking hippies who can't deal with reality." Well, don't worry, 'cause I gotchu covered! I have included some general fitness channels, too. Feel free to share your favorite fitness channels! 🏋🏻‍♂️

Yoga:

There are some full yoga classes from their subscription site.

Heart Alchemy Yoga
Power yoga, ashtanga yoga and meditations. Very stereotypical, Santa Monica-style yoga instructor. ;)

General Fitness:
Fitness Blender
Loads of choice, low impact, high impact, hiit, yoga, pilates, bodyweight/no equipment, strength training, kettle bells, tabata, etc. They even have their own website with a calendar function to schedule your own workouts.

Blogilates/Cassey Ho
A potpourri of hiit, light weights, no equipment, low impact, high impact, yoga, pilates. Her following is younger women and teens, so her demeanor reflects that. But it doesn't bother me, but I can see how it might bother others. ;)

Barlates
This channel is a lot of barre-inspired workouts. But she has a lot of no equipment workouts.

Effortless Health
These are no frills, 20 minute all-in hiit workouts.

Jessica Smith
Lower intensity, walking work outs, some lighter weight workouts, dance work outs. She has an adorable, little assistant, "Peanut," who "supervises" her workouts. 😍

I hope someone out there finds this useful. Stay calm, safe and healthy. Namaste. 🙏

I'd like to add
Yoga with Adrienne all levels I'd start with 30 days of yoga if newer and she has a new series yoga for stress
Leslie Sansone walking indoors aerobics for people with 6 left feet every level from couch potato up to 5mph For couch potatoes I suggest her American Heart Assoc. series
Psyche Truth a bit of everything yoga, barre and relaxation
Jillian Michaels HIIT and toning for the most part
Amazon Prime has assorted workouts free to members
Just remember if you're new or just back to exercising be careful and start slowly
