The Giants are getting roasted here over picking Daniel Jones at 6. Not that he will be a bad QB for them - just when they picked him at 6.

Here's your problem, and sadly, one which cannot be addressed during the draft:

It was clear last year that the Giants needed a QB, and that draft class was far better at the position. The guy also completely bungled the Beckham situation.

This part alone should get him banned for life. “You need to be terrified of me, too, *****.”

I read it yesterday - and that was bad - but I heard it on the radio this morning and @Dead2009 used the right word: sickening. Sadly the woman also speaks of beating the child as if it’s some commonplace thing people do. It’s awful.

They traded up to 21, to get Darnell Savage Jr., DB from U of MD. Played safety there but not the biggest guy.
I am okay with this pick. Even though we signed a free agent safety, we still had a hole at the other safety spot.

So much talent between him and Kareem Hunt, but if you can't get it together off the field, you should not be allowed to touch an NFL stadium again. Such a waste.

The Dolphins acquire QB Josh Rosen from the Cardinals.
Dolphins played that out really well, waiting until tonight and trading down to the 62nd overall pick so they didn’t give up any more than necessary, and up with a decent QB prospect. Must be humiliating for Rosen though.

The Cardinals really had no leverage. It sounded like the Dolphins were the only team with real interest after other teams drafted QBs in the first and second rounds. It's not like they were going to hold onto Rosen.

ESPN reporting former Jets and current Raiders’ RB Isaiah Crowell tore his Achilles during a workout with the team Monday and is out for the season.

Similar to Raiders at 4. Even if you think he’s the right guy, trade down if he’ll still be there.

Yeah, Gruden just watched the college championship game and picked guys he saw on the TV. I’d thank my stars the Bucs didn’t hire him, but they suck anyway.

At least if you’re an Oakland fan, you probably can’t wait for that team to leave town.

I went through it week-by-week and this is what my playoffs look like:

371643

I don't how I have the Colts at 14-2, but they end up with the #1 seed. If NE has to travel to Lucas Oil, I'm not sure Brady is still Brady enough to pull it off, especially without #87 on the field.

I also don't know how I have the Cowboys doing so well, but. . .

Other highlights:

Cardinals go win-less.
Browns go 8-8 despite the hype.
Chiefs come back down to Earth at 10-6 with the defensive losses and loss to Tyreek. Chargers win that division at 13-3.
Giants struggle to make it to 5 wins, with Philly and Dallas each coming in at 12-4.
Rams take the West easily with a 12-4 record.

*Half of this will be wrong by the time it matters. :hilarious:

I just read an interesting fact. In 2018, QBs with 50+ pass attempts were 5-25. Granted, many of those passes probably happened because they were trailing big, but still interesting.

Sad news. Packers and NFL legend Bart Starr has passed away at the age of 85. He was the MVP of Super Bowls I and II.
