It looked to me like both players had possession of the ball when they landed. Doesn't a tie go in favor of the offense? Not sure if even the real officials could've made a call on that play without some controversy.

From what I've been hearing (and seeing), it was not simultaneous because Jennings caught the ball first in the air. It doesn't matter if they both have possesion when they land since Jennings had the ball first. Regardless Im sick and tired of these refs.

Being a Packers fan, you can probably guess how upset I am. It's not even the final play, it's the fact that in every single game there are 10-20 plays that totally change the entire game. It doesn't have to come down to one play, it's the course of the entire game. It makes you wonder, how would team's records look if we had the normal referees? People are paying a lot of money to go to games to watch this garbage. Roger Goodell needs to suck it up and admit that these refs are affecting the outcome of these games. Insanely ridiculous.

I'm not a Packers fan, but I feel your pain. They won the game and got screwed. As stated above, the Pats should be 3-0 and instead are 1-2. Thing is, this is just as much the owners fault as it is Goodell's.

It does, but this wasn't the case. I've seen it replayed a hundred times from a dozen different angles with close up photos step by step. It was a clear interception. Tate didn't get his hands fully on the ball until they were both already down. Regardless, it shouldn't even matter. Tate committed the most blatant offensive pass interference I have ever seen (which the NFL admitted was missed). Game should have been over right there.

I am not sure if the officials got that call right or not on monday night. But the officials are not the main reason why the Packers lost. It was one call at the end of the game. Lots of other things happend in this game. Now I understand that sometimes a call can be a reason why a team does not win, but that does not mean it's the only reason why that team did not win.

The Cowboys play on monday night and I would be upset if a bad call hurt the Cowboys. But I am more worried about the Cowboys making mistakes and the Cowboys not playing good enough to beat the Bears than I am about the Cowboys getting a bad call.

Also people have talked about how the Packers might not make the playoffs because of that call. If the Packers don't make the playoffs it will not be just because of that one call and that one game. Let us say the Packers are 9-7 at the end of the year and they don't make the playoffs, but they would have made the playoffs if they went 10-6. If that happens that one game on monday night will be only one out of 7 games that are the reason why the Packers will not make the playoffs. I understand that one game can be a reason why a team does not make the playoffs, but what I am saying is it's not the only reason.

I was the replay a few times, and I must say, that was totally an interception. Jennings had control of the ball, and then Tates got it after Jennings fell to the ground. This just shows what the replacement refs have done to the game we love. Did they even look at the replay?

Go NYG!

The problem is, it's not just 1 game - It's 3 games into the season and MANY games have been altered because of the poor calls. This is just the most recent, and blatantly ridiculous messed up call yet. It's also the way these referees are making the calls even IF they get them right. They all have to meet up and discuss each penalty, of which they're throwing too many of. Teams that use a two-minute offense, like the Patriots, can't get set or into their normal rhythm. Same goes for Green Bay, New Orleans, Denver and Philadelphia. It's no coincidence that all these teams are 1-2.

I comepletely agree, but the Saints are 0-3 and the Eagles are 2-1. Also, they never state what the call on the field is for ANY play. When they do go to review the play, you never know what they're looking at because you don't know what the call is.
