Just commenting on the Pats and Welker dropping the ball to lose SB 46, that sucked, but was hardly the main reason they lost. It was Gronkowski's injury that killed them.

The AFC Championship Game, I was there. No doubt, the Ravens could have won that game. But honestly, there was sloppy play on both sides. That game could have been over half a dozen times.

And Polard should be banned from the league. Gronk was the third Pat he has injured in 4 years. He is doing it on purpose.

Couldnt argue with this either........you were in my backyard Kidd. If this ever happens again we will have to get together. How did you like our fair city?

I hear ya. I try not to make excuses. In 2007, the Giants just beat us. Granted, Eli Manning must have a 4 leaf clover shoved up his butt to pull off that play, but they still beat us. Last year, what happened with Gronkowski was just devastating. The bogus intentional grounding for a safety call on the 1st drive of the game didn't help either. Welker dropping the ball, that's part of the game. He should have caught it. If he had, we'd have won. But he didn't. Nobody's fault but his. Gronkowski playing with a broken ankle, uh, still makes me sick to think about it.

well, honestly in 2007.... the critical point in the game was a missed call. There was a point in his scramble where Eli was essentially stopped in motion, in a normal game they would blown the whistle and said his forward motion had ceased. Especially since people can't hit the QB anymore.

Missed calls happen so much I don't bother letting them get to me anymore. Now, calls that are made that should not be - That's another story. That crap safety the Giants got last year still irks me to this day. It's only 2 points, but it pretty much set the pattern for the game.

Allow me the pleasure of nipping this little revolution in the bud. The Super Bowl winner will come out of the NFC, the AFC and all their teams are just going through the motions.

Jimmy's Thursday night pick:

Bears over Packers!!!

Jimmy Thick- Packers, Bears, 49ers, Giants Atlanta all better than the Ravens who are the best AFC team.

I sold my tickets for the 2 games I had this year. The NFL ought to be ashamed of itself. The Patriots should be 2-1 (possibly 3-0 according to many people who were sitting in the end zone of the Ravens game.) The Packers should be 2-1. That's only the games I've seen. I'm sure there are other screw jobs out there.

Being a Packers fan, you can probably guess how upset I am. It's not even the final play, it's the fact that in every single game there are 10-20 plays that totally change the entire game. It doesn't have to come down to one play, it's the course of the entire game. It makes you wonder, how would team's records look if we had the normal referees? People are paying a lot of money to go to games to watch this garbage. Roger Goodell needs to suck it up and admit that these refs are affecting the outcome of these games. Insanely ridiculous.
