Just thought I should share that Colin Kaepernick is trying to trademark the term "Kaepernicking." The article also leads me to believe that he's trying to trademark the pose, too, although it never exactly says that.

This guy is so hot headed and I REALLY dislike him. He's the reason I want the 49ers to crash and burn in the Super Bowl. I also can't wait until he figures out that he's not going to go to the Super Bowl every season. I think he thinks that it's just this easy to win and he probably will just expect to go to the Super Bowl again. Did I mention that I don't like Kaepernick??

If you really couldn't believe it like me, here's the article.

I'm listening to a lot of local sports talk about how the ravens have no chance...

Now, I think I just might start rooting for the Ravens.

Jimmy Thick- Me love me some underdogs...
:mad:Why does everyone think that about MY team????????

Okay, so maybe I will only watch it on my DVR if they win, since I will be at WDW and there are Extra Magic Hours at MK that night, but still.

Jeremy Lin did something simillar. He trademarked "Linning" and "Linsanity" during his run of fame in the NBA

I don't get how people are saying the Ravens have no chance. They just beat the 1 and 2 seeds the last two weeks, they made Tom Brady look like he was playing in his first ever game, demolished the Bronocs top 10 defense, Joe Flacco is on a tear trying to back up his comments saying he is elite, and the defense is rallying around Ray Lewis

I wouldn't quite call Flacco elite yet. He has to prove he can make some of the throws that Brees and Rodgers can make first. However, I do think he has moved into the top 10 QBs in the league, probably somewhere around 8, 7 or 6.

I was originally rooting for the 49er's going into the big game because:
a). It would be cool to see the SF 49er's win the Super Bowl just after the SF Giants won the World Series
b). I'm an NFC guy
c). The greatest show in all of television history, Full House, takes place in SF.

HOWEVER, that is beginning to change quickly and I am starting to turn toward the side of the Ravens. The 49er's QB (Kapernick-spelling?), yeah I know he's young & all, but geesh...show a little humility going into such an important game!! His pre-Super Bowl interviews make him look a little, um, into himself to say the least. He's acting like he's already won the big game, and he's the alpha & omega of pro-football. o_O
Like I said, he's a very young player, so maybe it's just over-excitement of a rookie. But compared to other young players (Seattle's new QB), this 49er's fellow just seems to enjoy the smell of his own farts waaay too much. Act humbled to be going to the Super Bowl. Act honored to be going...not like it's owed to you. Don't act like you're doing a favor to the reporters by taking a few seconds to answer their questions. Granted, this kid has a great future ahead of him for sure. I am just having a hard time warming up to his character after what I've seen over the past few days.

Oh, and it was GORE who saved the day & helped the 49er's beat Atlanta last week...moreso than Kapernick. You shouldn't be that boastful kid if 1). You didn't beat the Falcons by even the equivalent of a touchdown, and 2). Gore was the main hero of that game, not you! Show some humility!

End Rant

p.s. @StarWarsGirl95 got room for another Ravens fan around here for the Super Bowl? I'm switching sides! :D

I'm with you on the whole Kaepernick showing some humility. So far I'm not a fan. He may be a decent player but his attitude thus far has been a major turn off (at least to me). Growing up in CA, although an avid Bears fan, I've always liked the 49ers and of course was a huge Montana fan. This guy however, needs to take a step back. One year in the league and he comes off like he's the Football God. I know some folks may believe he is but...humility goes a long way in my book.

Am I reading that correctly, or does one of those books really say: "DisneyWar"? :eek:o_O

And thanks for the invite. Glad to officially be part of Club: Ravens!
(Sorry, NFC, lose the narcissism & maybe next Super Bowl).
