My playoff teams thus far (since the Eagles and Saints won't be in it regardless of tomorrow's game):

NFC: Packers, Falcons, Giants, 49ers, Bears, Buccaneers
AFC: Texans, Ravens, Patriots, Broncos, Steelers, Colts

Wild Card Race

NFC: Lions, Vikings, Seahawks
AFC: Chargers, Dolphins

MVP Race: Matt Ryan, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, JJ Watt, Tim Jennings

As usual, no particular order for any of that.

The thing is they are finding a way to win. So there is a reason why they are 8-0. But I will say that the Cowboys did have chances to win this game, but they did not get it done. A lot of times when the Cowboys have a chance to win the game they don't get it done and that is a big reason why they are 3-5. Also when the Falcons have a chance to win the game they get it done and that is a big reason why they are 8-0.
It seems that the Falcons are finally winning the games the used to lose. If Carolina could finish games, they would be in the playoff hunt. Wouldn’t surprise me to see Atlanta split with New Orleans, Tampa, and lose on the road at Carolina.

If Carolina could gain any sort of mental toughness, they could be a team to be reckoned with……NEXT YEAR. They are in great shape for a top 10 draft pick.

Week 10 Headlines
Blowout: Bills vs. Patriots. Thank goodness I'm not a Bills fan.
Game of the Week: Texans vs Bears. 7-1 vs. 7-1. This game is awesome.
Bad to the Bone: Eagles vs. Cowboys. America's Team vs. Dream Team. Well, they're both 3-5. Maybe next year, fans.

I want the Texans to win as I am a Packers fan, but I'm not sure. The Texans are a much more balanced team, but the Bears have a better defense and special teams. The Texans offense is better than Chicago's. With the talent the Bears have, they never seem to be able to capitalize on it. Their turnovers won't be as easy this week either. The Bears survive on turnovers and points from turnovers. The Texans are one of the better teams turnover-wise in the league. It will probably be my game to watch since the Packers aren't playing.

Being a Falcons fan, I would also like to see the Texans win. The Texans can prove they are for real by beating the Bears in Chicago. So far Houston is 2-1 against teams with a winning record:

Wins- @ Denver, Baltimore (home)
Loss - GB (home)

The Bears are 1-1 against teams with winning records:

Win- Indy (home)
Loss - @ GB

Many think the AFC is extremely subpar this year.....

A quick glance show only 13 teams with a winning record and 3 more at .500, leaving HALF of the league with a losing record.

Today's Giants game has been cancelled. If you happen to see what looks like the Giants getting killed by the Bengals on your TV just disregard it. What you are seeing is simply a mirage.

What I have learned today from the 1:00 games...
-Giants have a lot of work to do
-Bills know how to keep close with the Patriots. Seems like every time they play its a close game for the majority
-Peyton Manning doubters are officially wrong
-Jake Locker>Matt Hasselbeck
-Lions are too inconsistent to make the playoffs this season
-The Saints are back
-This will be Norv Turners final season in San Diego
-I am an idiot for starting Eli Manning over Joe Flacco in fantasy football...
My super bowl prediction is: Broncos vs Giants. Brother vs Brother Giants will get hot at right time as usual, and make a run. They have one of the most talented team when they play to their full ability

Things I've learned so far this week:

- Jacksonville is the second worst team in the league
- Baltimore is inconsistent on both sides of the ball, but they can get the job done
- Peyton is still good
- Panthers still aren't good
- Giants will win their division, but won't make the Super Bowl
- The Bengals are inconsistent
- Locker is better than Hasselbeck
- The Dolphins are not getting to the playoffs
- Minnesota and Detroit are both inconsistent, but Minnesota actually has a decent shot at the playoffs
- Buffalo always finds a way to get the game close against the Pats, but they always lose
- The Saints offense is still good, and they are looking like a playoff team again
- The Falcons aren't the best team in the league
- The Bucs could be playoff bound
- Norv Turner may be looking for a coordinator job next year, and the GM may be finding a new job

- The Falcons aren't the best team in the league
Actually they are... if they had an easier schedule this week. The Saints (despite the losing record) are a top-quality team with one of the best QB's in the game. Matt Ryan and the Falcons are not up to par to compete with the "big boys" in the sport. Sadly, that was proven all too well tonight as the Saints knocked-off the Falcon's undefeated record. I had some hope for the Falcons when they defeated Mike Vick...but he is in a downward spiral this year.

Peyton handed Atlanta that win against the Broncos with his many interceptions, as he was barely getting back into the swing of things. He still *almost* came back in the 4th to win, as Denver was running all over Atlanta's defense during the final minutes.

The rest of the games have been against not-so-stellar teams, and the Falcons were able to squeak by with last minute wins in many occasions. Luckily for Atlanta, the next two games are against (hopefully) very easy teams (Arizona & Tampa Bay). The Falcons should be able to get some luck in those two matchups. But sadly, they will have to face Eli & the NY Giants following that. I highly doubt the Falcons will be able to handle NYG.

Thankfully, there are not too many more top-notch QB's for Atlanta to have to go up against minus Brees & Eli. They should still wrap up a #1 seed spot for the playoffs.

Tampa Bay is actually not doing too bad right now, their offense is doing pretty well. And trust me, I want Atlanta to be the best team in the league. It will either be Houston or... the Bears after tonight. Go Texans!

On another note, the Texans and Bears are tied for the best turnover differential. The Bears takeaway a lot, and the Texans don't turn the ball over. Should be an interesting and close game.

#1 Seed! Looks like that is attainable.

Which of these playoff teams would you have Atlanta favored (at home):

1) Chicago
2) Green Bay
3) San Fran (St Louis just took the lead)
4) N Y Giants
5) N.O, Tampa, Seattle, Minnesota (Or whoever # 6 might be)

Not 1-4

It woud be nice for the Texans to win and keep Atlanta a game ahead of da Bears. And San Fran just tied St Lou Lou with :05 left.
