You know at first I thought that the officials got the call right. But later when I look at it really close I think it was a touchdown. The reason I now think it's a touchdown is because when I looked at it very close it looks like his wrist hit in bounds before his fingers hit out of bounds.

Anyways next time if Dallas can find a way to not make so many big mistakes it might not have to come down to the last or one of the last plays of the game.

Even if his wrist did hit first, it would still be incomplete. It's not like college football where you only need one limb down. In the NFL you need a wrist and an elbow, foot and knee, two knees, two feet, etc.

No way it was a TD, his hand was clearly out

I have one.
If you don't watch an entire NFL game, you're going to get this:

I'm feeling pretty good after yesterday.

-The Patriots are back to being the Patriots.
-The Bears aren't as good as their record.
-The Saints have almost no chance of making the Playoffs.
-The Jets are laughable.
-The Giants are STILL the luckiest team on the planet.
-The Broncos may very well end up winning the AFC.
-Phillip Rivers will NEVER win a Super Bowl.
-Without decent receivers, Aaron Rogers is an average quarterback at best.
-The Chiefs might be the worst team in the history of the league.
-The Bears may not be as good as their record, but the Panthers aren't as bad as theirs either.
-The Giants AND Falcons might be lucky (Falcons have a reputation to lose games the way they are winning now), but that is how you get 1st round byes.
-Does anyone want to grab and hold # 6 in the NFC?

If Arizona doesn't win @ Green Bay, or Tampa Bay doesn't win their next 3 (@ Oakland, San Diego, @ Carolina) it will be December 16th before Atlanta plays another team with a winning record! They will, however, play Dallas, and New Orleans twice during that stretch.

My playoff teams after week 8 (no particular order):

NFC: Packers, Giants, Falcons, 49ers, Bears, Buccaneers

AFC: Texans, Ravens, Patriots, Broncos, Dolphins, Steelers

I chose Buccaneers because they've looked strong over the past couple weeks, same with the Dolphins.

My Wildcard Playoff hunt:

NFC: Vikings, Seahawks

AFC: Colts, Raiders, Chargers

I would bet money we're going to see Patriots-Giants Part 3 in the Super Bowl.

I don't know, the last time a team won their first 4 games, then lost their next 4, it was the 2002 Raiders. The Raiders ended up going to the Super Bowl that year. Cardinals are making a comeback! ;)

They'll be lucky if they even end up in the Wild Card hunt.

AFC - Pats or Broncos.
NFC - Packers or Giants.

Personally, I want Pats-Giants as it's time for some payback.

I know, I was joking.

AFC- Pats, Broncos, or Texans

NFC- Packers, Giants, or Falcons

I want Packers in NFC and Ravens in AFC (even though I doubt they'll get there).

The top 5 teams in the entire NFL are from the NFC, and one of them will win the Super Bowl. The only reason a AFC team makes it to the Super Bowl is because they have to be there, but no team from the AFC can compete with the Packers, Bears, Giants, 49ers or Falcons.

Jimmy Thick- Just not good, just like the Bill's from the 90's...

I guess I should rephrase my previous post. Few teams in the AFC stand out in a good way. I mean, the Chiefs certainly stand out. They have never had the lead in regulation this season. Zero minutes, zero seconds. Good news is, they look like they'll be able to draft a QB with the first pick in the draft...

What QB stands out? This sounds of a great topic for another thread..."Who will win the _ _ _ _ _ _ sweepstakes?"

I think it's because no team from the AFC really stands out. That and Peyton Manning has been MVP-like in the past 3 or so games.
He certainly has....its the post season that is my issue (with Manning, and for that matter Atlanta)
Texans, Broncos and Patriots are only AFC teams that stand out right now. Agree?
Agreed....would not count out Pittsburgh. They don't stand out, and are looking old, but the roster has many seasoned winners.

I don't know as much about college football as I do the NFL, but I think the first pick will be Matt Barkley or Geno Smith. I do agree that there is no "Wow" college QBs. Maybe the team with the number 1 pick will trade it, since there isn't a top-notch QB.

Only other QB worth mentioning is Laundry Jones.....agree there is not a standout
