My advice is to use Disney transport on NYE. Do not even try to drive anywhere on property. Buses can get through, be redirected etc.

Don't buses sit in the same line of traffic?? i was thinking of walking to Swan or Yacht club and taking UBER from there

Buses can go along back roads, even along verges, whilst if you are in your car you will sit in static traffic.

By noon on NYE, the traffic coming off the main road into Disney was at a standstill. By 3pm, DH was able to get off the interstate and get to DS but not get back to the Contemporary. OTOH, I got a bus to DS no problem. Buses were still getting people around, slower than normal but they were moving

We were at Epcot for New Years this past year and did the Disney buses. Getting out of the park at the end wasn’t that pleasant, but once we made it to th bus line, they were running them pretty quickly. It probably took us an hour to get from inside the park back to the hotel.

Take Disney transportation. The buses can take back roads and back entrances into a resort your Uber driver won't be able to take. Plus, the driver will be given real time updates on congestion and redirected as needed.

BTW, Epcot will be slammed.
