New 'Wilderness Explorers' game play testing in Disney's Animal Kingdom

Interesting. So if this does become permanent, Hollywood Studios will indeed become the only park without one of these games.

And after that, they can get on to building real attractions, right? :lookaroun

Kim Possible is already outdated, but the interactive game fits Epcot. Excited a/b Sorcerer's of the MK.

Almost always open to an addition to DAK, so I'm glad if this comes. Details on what Guests do, storyline, etc.?

If the addition of this Up-themed game to DAK is to also result in the Up characters returning to WDW for regular meet-and-greets again (like they did at DCA), then more power to them. :)

I would love to meet and greet with Up characters. Can you see Disney bringing a talking Mickey sort of technology to a M & G w/ Dug? I'd love that.

We have known this was coming for about a year now. Glad that the testing is moving forward. By the time this is finished, all 4 parks will have an experience like this. Stay tuned.

why do 3 out of the 4 parks have this and is it really Necessary?

Because they haven't yet gotten it into 4 out of 4 parks and yes/no.

No, they don't really need it.

Yes, it's fun and engaging and a new way of looking at/exploring the parks. I think it helps tell a story and unite the various lands/pavilions in the parks and can only serve to "plus" the parks.

Those who are against it have made some points (the Kim Possible things are distracting/annoying), but I think a lot of the comments and arguments against them are just hum-buggery.

You wouldn't even need to make his mouth move! :ROFLOL:  In the movie, his mouth doesn't open anyway.... Just put a speaker on his collar! :D

This will never happen, but I think a ________ Tracy detective agency in DHS would be great for a theme there, or if not that, something film noir, hard-boiled style. That would fit in with the 30s and 40s.

Roger rabbit would fit in studios. I'm super psyched about this. As a big fan of the kP. I game I welcome more innovation of this kind. It is not intrusive at all and is a very good way:brick: to keep people in the Parks longer.

That would be great, but like you said, it would never happen. Too many people don't know who D i c k Tracy is or what film noir is. I'd expect the Studios game would probably feature Phineas and Ferb. :brick:

Im a fan of humor and entertaining TV but having tried to sit down and watch a whole episode of phineas and ferb is not something I will do ever again. Its really not good and the hype around it blows my mind.

I totally disagree, but to each their own. I can say as a 36 y/o male, that I enjoy the show as much (if not more) than my kids. I find it quite clever and appreciate the fact that for the most part it derives its humor without characters being rude or negative to other characters, or by them being generally obnoxious (see Spongebob). Just as a frame of reference, other non-kiddie, comedic endeavors that I love: The Simpsons (pre season 10 or so), Futurama, Arrested Development, Seinfield, Parks and Rec, and MST3K.

As for a Phineas and Ferb interactive experience in DHS, it would seem to make sense, but so would an Agent P/Doofenshmirtz redo of Kim Possible. Either way, the kids would love it (and so would my wife and I)!

I have said for a while that Kim Possible should be redone as an Agent P game.

As for the game at DAK, I love the idea, makes Disney Parks more unique, and helps make DAK a little more than a 1/2 day park
