There is a small bar area with around a dozen seats but only as part of the restaurant.

Seems like a huge missed opportunity. The bar should be triple that size at least.

You’d think so. But if they are trying to maximize profit, and you know that’s #1 on ye olde mission statement for WDW these days, a space themed bar would make a ton of dough.

Actually, since we're no longer worried about overall theme, Odyssey could become Milliways. If they re-created the show at Milliways it would be fun. Might as well open The Big Bang Burger Bar next door.

I had to tell everyone in my car on test track what it was going to be.

The amount of sound proofing they installed in that wall is more than enough to silence Test Track.

I don’t know what people think they are seeing on the exterior wall. It looks like CMU between steel columns. 8” is a standard thickness and even 12” isn’t too unusual. Nothing special and any insulation would be installed later.
