I just wanted to share this because it surely made me jump and gawk at the screen and no one had said it yet.

I had once read a rumor that had an awesome concept regarding The Muppets at DHS from a long time ago, along with the concept art that many of you know undoubtedly have seen before. As a huge fan of the franchise, I was really sad and disappointed the ideas never left the drawing board.

These pictures and what it depicts, either coincidental or drawn inspiration from that beloved rumor long ago, surely has me excited for the movie, and not only for the movie itself, but excited to see what would happen if the movie was a success.

See for yourself what could finally happen:

Really would be nice if they gave the Muppets more love in the parks following this movie. They are underrepresented IMO.

Looking forward to this movie, lot of big name talent pitching in for this.

Actually it was already posted but I don't blame you for missing it becasue of the decieving title: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/showthread.php?t=657066

But I agree it does look cool. However the plot is almost exactly like the Very Merry Muppets Christmas movie from a while back. Plus I really don't like the whole evil oil company plot... how many times have we seen that before?

That's true, but this info from Ain't It Cool did an interesting post on that:

I read an early draft of the script (back when it was titled THE GREATEST MUPPET MOVIE EVER MADE instead of simply "The Muppets") and fell in love. It's a "getting the band back together" story where the Muppets have all parted ways and must be drawn back together to save their legacy from an oil tycoon. I'm not sure exactly what's changed, but I think the structure is the same.

Wouldn't this be a fabulous rehab for The Muppets area at DHS? Can you imagine what kind of wonderful attractions they could develop to reimagine that area. And maybe bring back some life to DHS as it was in the younger years of the park!?
I miss takikng the tram down Residential Street and seeing the different 'houses' or shows we were familiar with! I wish they would make the studios a REAL WORKING studio again with some sitcoms/shows being taped in the REAL sound stages.
And how cool would it be to incorporate Golden Oak Ranch area in DHS!?
imagine walking around and seeing the Golden Oak that Walt use to lie under and dream!? And of course incorporate some attractions!

Imagineer Boy, I agree with you completely. The oil tycoon thing sounds like something The Muppets have done before too but I can't remember where exactly...
