New POTC Ride?

Slashfilm is rumoring that Shanghai Disneyland is getting a new Pirates ride, unlike the current versions at DL or WDW.

Thoughts?

Screamscape said it's probably going to be based entirely off the film series unlike all of the other incarnations and it's going to be more thrilling with bigger drops akin to Splash Mountain.

According to screamscape (whom I've found to be pretty reliable) yes.

This sounds awesome. But after reading this I have decided there's no way this ride would be added to the magic kingdom as project z since it's so similar to splash. I guess it is in tomorrowland.
