Well either way it doesn’t sound like DL park needs PTN with the special effects and lighting for Magic Happens. DCA? Idk.
Why should that matter? MSEP/PTN are night parades. They are able to run along with Day Parades. MK knew that. DL has a hard time keeping it that way for some reason

MK still has that mind set, but unfortunately in their current situation that is not a good thing and resulted in No parade at Night period. In the situation they are in they should have followed in DLs footsteps and ran Festival of Fantasy at night. Just my two cents.
For whatever reason DL gets away with running their daytime parade at night. I’m not sure how, why or when that started? Maybe after the Light Magic days?

They're very capable of running both, but budgets they're given don't really allow it. IF paint comes back this year, expect it to be at DCA still.

Wow. Those costumes that the performers are wearing are ...something. I'm not sure what, but they're something. (Seriously, what are the giant things on those womens' heads supposed to represent? Old-style ticket books? Giant skeins of ribbon? Fancy VHS spools? I've been pausing the video, trying to figure it out, and I've got nothing.) I admit I've never been into Avant-Garde fashion, so I'm not a fan. But the rest of the parade looks promising.
Also, from the article and concept art, it sounds like they're actually going to attempt the effect from this video edit that people keep losing their minds over.
It will be interesting to see how this effect pans out in real life. It could be really cool if done well!

Was that photoshopped?? I can't ever remember that happening in TDL's HIH!

it was a fake edit created by someone. The dress didn’t actually do that.
Thanks! I knew it didn't do that in all of the HIHs that I've seen! I didn't know if TDL tested something one day and we all missed it!

And suddenly it makes sense why this entire parade was leaked online a year ago thanks to drunk Disneyland managers hitting on their hourly Cast Member underlings in a notorious West Hollywood gay bar.

But really, this sudden and insulting disrespect for Up With People has just gotten under my skin this evening.
Here's Super Bowl XX in 1986, where the Up With People kids did a global themed Salute to All Nations but mostly America and Dr. Martin Luther King's dream for the future, Presented by GTE. How can you not love this? How could you put this down in an attempt to build up the new Drag Race parade at Disneyland???
