I'd like a stiff drink... a massage...

I am still on the phone booking pkgs and rooms... I did take a break to take pictures of my daughter and her friend before they left for the Prom. I had a quick Peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I took her for her hair appointment this afternoon.

Pam

LOL - your day sounds like the good basis for a Dolly Parton song.

I bet the people at CRO are having a busy day too.

Needless to say, I've had a very good day myself. :D

This was a nice surprise today. It will make our September trip more enjoyable. I know when I call CRO this morning, the rep said they are going banana's and it was not even 8 a.m. LOL. In fact, she said it was her day off, and they were called in because they expected this.

I was on hold for close to an hour this morning just trying to get through and throughout the day some times it took quite a while for them to answer. I have 2 people left to call and then I am hopefully done for the night. :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

I just want to say a special THANK YOU to all of you who booked with me today.

You're thanking us? ;) I mean, I know it's your business and all, but you really do make it painless. Most agents I've encountered before haven't been nearly as attentive or flexible. This deal is really going to change our trip, and I wouldn't have even known about it if you hadn't posted.

My mouth is already watering thinking about the filet at Brown Derby and how it's going to taste wonderful as always, but just a bit better because it's FREE. :)

Gotta love it when things like this work out.

Thanks again Pam!

Pam, I may be booking a vacation using this package and an AP discount on the rooms in the near future. Your hard work is truly amazing!!!!!
Just a heads up there Lawyer girl, the sooner you book this package the better chance you have of getting the resort you want on the dates you want. I have been using Pam's services for a few years now and she has always been able to get me the reosrt I have wanted on the dates I wanted. That is just becasue I plan pretty well in advance and give her as much notice as I can!!! Belle

Thanks for the concern, Belle! I plan on having it all together within the week, but I have to juggle work schedules and finances, so I can't put it all together right now... But I wouldn't hold it against Pam or anyone other than the people who are being wishy washy and my pocketbook if I don't get to take advantage of this! (besides, they would be the ones needing the package - I plan on getting an AP and DDE card because I will be going back next July/August!)

*grumble grumble* Stupid other people, keeping me from WDW!

My advice?? book the AP room for yourself as soon as you can juggle your work schedule. DONT wait on the other people or you will be waiting forever. Trust me on this one as I used to do that. Not anymore though!!!! Now I book the AP room and then let anyone who is interested in going know what the deal is via E mail or phone. You know the old saying I Am sure, we never plan to fail, we only fail to plan. Best of luck with getting to WDW!!!! Belle

I've found that is the advice that works for me as well.

My next trip is an exception (a planned family trip for a special family member's birthday) but normally on my "regular" bi-/tri-monthly trips I just book the AP rate and say "Hey, I'm going to Disney World on these dates. Wanna go?" I'd say 2/3 of the time someone in my life ends up asking me if they can tag along, and the other 1/3 of the time...ah, those are for the refreshing solo trips. :)

I love to show people the World, and see things through their eyes - but there also is NOTHING like doing WDW solo, where selfishly you can take in the world at your leisure.

I just got back a couple of weeks ago, and usually at this point I'm mellowing out and taking a break from the magic, even on the Internet, but between the dining savings and the AP rate on my room I'm more excited than ever (especially since this time I get to show someone the World for the very first time).

And my sick little mind is like, "Can't I fit in one weekend between now and then?" LOL.

We are no better than a bunch of crack-heads, I tell ya. ;)

(No offense to real crack-heads - I know you aren't as bad as us)

still a little confused...

Sorry if I just haven't picked this up, but is the free dining offer for everyone staying in each room booked? For instance, will each member of my family of four, staying in one room, get the free plan? Or is it just one per room?

Each person in the room is entitled to 1 snack, 1 counter service meal and one sit down meal per person per night of stay. So your answer is yes.

The package covers room accomodations, you park passes for whatever length of stay that you like from a 1 day base ticket to a 10 day premium. (your choice)
The base ticket lets you go to only 1 park of your choice out of the 4 main parks per day
If you add the park hopping option you can hop from park to park at a minimal fee
You can also add the plus option to make it a premium pass which depending on how many days you have on your pass, you will get a limited number of days for DisneyQuest, the Water parks and Pleasure Island at an additional cost.
You may also add the non expiring option for an additional cost.

It also gives you the dining plan which is 1 snack, 1 counter service meal and 1 sit down meal per person per night of stay. It saves you the $35 per adult and $10 per child that you would have to spend for the dining plan normally which is still a very good deal.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

Incidentally folks the free dining package offer expires soon, I believe it was July 2nd or 3rd so if you are interested in this program please make sure that you call Pam at Kingdom Konsultants, or Disney soon as there doesnt appear any sign of this program being extended. Pam's number is 1866-566-7858 or her E mail is Pam@kingdomkonsultants.com Belle

wannabeBelle, as always, is correct.

The "Stay Play and Dine" vacation package offer for the general public must be booked by close of day on 7/3/05. The Florida Resident version (all adult guest in the room MUST be Florida residents with ID) can be booked until close of day on 7/19/05.

Hope this helps! :sohappy:
