As far as I know, it is "good, not great." A grade of B, if you will. That was viewed as good-enough as they need a nighttime show in operation with Pandora. If not for that requirement, I suspect it still wouldn't be open. I can't see the reviews as giving them an excuse to never fix it as some feared. When they get to it is another issue altogether.

When you say fix do you mean fixing the current show or fixing it by replacing it as some have alluded to?

Oh they are still working on some effects for the current show. I honestly doubt lanterns would suddenly make the show a crowd-stunner. Eventually it will likely be replaced with a new show. Hopefully it'll have a similar style but better execution.

The soundtrack is for sale!
(I'm not really sure if I should link stuff from this specific Twitter account, but if not, I'll remove it no problem)

Not totally sure what the lanterns will do besides move around and change colors lol but that may help a tiny bit in the finale. Would be cool if each lantern had a fountain jet lol.

From what I understand the lanterns were meant to take the place of the lotus flowers up until the animal floats go off stage. If they were able to implement this then at least it would bring in a new element to the show after five minutes which would add interest and help with pacing.

I haven't seen the show in person but from what I have seen on YouTube I don't see a massive problem with the finale.

Haven't you paid attention to the news? Obviously they don't want any association with DUI allegations.

We ate at Tiffins back in March using the ROL package and the experience and food were great. There were 4 of us and everyone had something different. Yes, it was a longer meal than most restaurants in the Parks, but we actually enjoyed the time and found it relaxing.
I hope you enjoy it. I know you are probably aware of my effusive praise of it but we can't get enough of it. Also check out the Nomad Lounge. That is equally enjoyable.
I recently brought my aunt and uncle to WDW. It was her first trip, and after a day at Animal Kingdom she was so overwhelmed we sat at Nomads Lounge for 3 hours and had i think nearly every appetizer between the three of us. It was so so peaceful back there, is that vibe thrown off by the mad dash of people to Pandora?

If they did the new awakenings show with drones. I'm surprised they havent tried floating lamps with drones.
Drones were just for media, and required a mass clearing of parts of the park.
Anyone know why the tiger float is missing? It was not in tonight's show.
Tiger has been out for at least two days now, and I have yet to look ask as to why. Personal guesses are either a bum motor or navigation system. I do recall it being a more finnicky float during testing, mainly due to its positions.

Simply put, this show isn't very good. The music can potentially hold up to anchor a nighttime show and the floats that move around are cool. But it needs A LOT more. The "finale" is comparable to the Earth Globe opening up with no pyro.

I don't know what the solution is, but more pyro, drones, low level fireworks, or anything else are desperately needed.

The music and floats are great. The projections are hit or miss that needs work. I doubt we get fireworks so people need to kind of accept that isn't a reality. It's a different show. Some won't love it, some do. I think they can find a better middle ground with it. It's not terrible, IMHO. But yeah it could use work. I feel like people are waiting for some big WOW moment and with this kind of show instead of appreciating the beauty of it all.
