New Kona Cafe dinner menu

Well the items we chose were not very good. The combination platters California roll tasted like cat food, the spices tuna roll was good, but they use large veggie chunks now. The Dragon eel and shrimp roll was a miss as well, what sort of sick individual puts raw carrot strips on top of over cooked shrimp ? Disphonia of the taste buds. The sharp taste of carrot didnt blend at all with the unami from the eel. The sweet eel sauce couldnt save it. If you read the menu description, theres no mention of shrimp but it does mention jalapeño and avacado which you can't see in the bottom dish.

Lunch was much better! Everyone can have an off day, but last night's meal was dreadful. Lunch today was a treat with the Pokémon bowl, spicey tuna roll, and chicken stir fry. (Edited because my phone posting obviously sucked today.)

Like most, this restaurant has gone completely down the tubes. Used to be one of my favorites, and now I don't even bother with it.
