That is a fair point and the genesis of my disinterest. When it opened, I remember how it was hailed as the first new land at the park. When I came to see it, there was nothing for me to do, I was simply too old. Roger Rabbit had not yet opened, but due to my first impression it would be years before I returned to realize it was there.

I miss Toon Town. What we have now is a sad land with one real Disney ride. Jolly Trolly was fun. Goofy’s House, Donald’s Boat, and Chip & Dale’s Treehouse are shells of what they once were; most of the fun elements have been stripped away.
I remember stumbling upon a old Disneyland video that was promoting the Toon Town when it was brand new. I remember it was hosted by The Mad Hatter and a male host who has a brown mustache. The Hatter would tour the various locations of Toon Town. I wish I could find that video again.
