Its going to be moving at a constant speed, with passive vents opening in the direction of travel. There will be no issue with still air in the cabin, so long as they are moving.

This question has come up in the past an I believe the answer was that standard practice on these sorts of systems is to leave the cars on the lines over night. They would only get removed in the case of severe weather.

That would be my guess too.

Though since its Disney I could see them maybe taking some off each night to clean the interiors.

So far, my understanding is they've been in storage each night. I don't remember who said it. This being Disney, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they put them away each night, even if that isn't standard practice at other locations.

The key question is how much labor it takes to take them off and put them on.

If it's mostly automated there's really no reason not to take them off.

Is the storage area going to remain out in the open? If so, then I don't understand the incentive for moving them from the uncovered line to the uncovered storage area.

I do understand the possible argument for removing them for possible cleaning and inspection each night. [edited to add after @danlb_2000's post: and about storing them during hurricanes]

Yes, it is staying un-covered. They will definitly move them into the storage area during hurricanes or tropical storms since you don't want them blowing around on the cables.

I understand about the hurricanes. I was asking wrt the poster's idea that "there's really no reason not to take them off [every night]"

Nope. Insiders are still giving this a wide window of opportunity except to say WDW really, really, wants this open before SWL opens.

There is no reason to take them off except in hurricanes and it is not a fully automated system. They are manually moved around the storage yard. @Lift Blog can confirm this.
