Oh man, that brings back memories of my visit to Euro Disney in 1992.

Photo update as of Friday, July 7. Land being cleared for the gondola station (subject of this thread) across from Trinidad South at Caribbean Beach Resort. Looking southwest along Sea Breeze Drive, from Trinidad North. This was a dense natural area, as seen in the background trees.

P.S. The land south of the Boardwalk Resort parking lot near Buena Visa Drive has not been touched yet.

I would disagree, if it hadn't been for insiders supporting the theory I would still be calling it a rumor.

You're right, the permits are 100% proof that they were doing something. Martin's post confirmed what it was.

I've gotta tell you, watching this all unfold essentially overnight was probably the most fun I've ever had as part of a Disney fan community. It was so exciting, and seeing it be reasoned out logically, then definitively and deservedly confirmed was fantastic!
