Edit: I don't know which one. I went back to get link and couldn't locate. However, in the new Passport to the Parks video (posted below by someone else, re: on board announcements) he mentions that he can see cast members onboard.

One more thing - Passport to the Parks now has video/audio of on-board announcements being made as the cabins begin to traverse Hourglass Lake! It's so exciting to see everything coming together!!! Audio can be heard at about 1:56

Little point reporting on this tbh. They run both lines several times a day at no specific schedule.

For example im sitting at AoA in my room right now. The sky liner was not running a minute ago, and now it is.

Ive been all over the world today. I'm just magical! First Canada, then a few others. Stopped for a snack in Norway etc. Never underestimate my power!

They can't completely remove it - for those who are uncomfortable riding the skyliner. Those fears are real and overwhelming for some, and I don't see Disney disregarding that. Cut back? Sure...but not remove completely.

If you have a fear of riding the monorail and stay at the Contemporary, Grand Flo or Poly there is no other option for you to get to Epcot. Take two monorails or sort your own transport out are the only options. Yes the Skyliner cabins feel higher off the ground compared to the monorail but there is a precedent for not offering more than one type of transit.

I do understand they will use the Skyliner to lessen the load on IASW. Instead of having your feet glued to IASW for shoplifting, you’ll be forced to take the perilous Epcot to CBR gondola. They won’t even open the door at Riviera.
