The Loop hasn't Changed since Soarin Came in 2005. But, here's what plays..

Exactly what I was wondering. I hope with the 30th coming up they revert to a retro version, and then use a new loop. Its 2012!!

Also, are there any high quality versions of the 1999-2001; 2001-2005; and 2006 loops?

I don't know where in Epcot this happens, but I frequently hear music that sounds very much like the music from "Back to the Future." I'll pay attention next time so I can ask.

Possibly at Soarin', they do play different James Horner movie themes there periodically....to date I've heard the themes for The Rocketeer, Apollo 13, and Battle Beyond the Stars.

At any rate, it's not BttF, because Universal's lawyers would be all up in that like Winnie the Pooh in the honey tree.

EDIT -- And Alan Silvestri did the music for BttF, as well as Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Marvel's The Avengers.

But the Apollo 13 music isn't exactly as iconic and instantly recognizable as Back to the Future. Plus, despite the BTTF: The Ride being given the boot, it still maintains a healthy presence at Universal Orlando.
