Not sure what you are getting in the US, but here in the UK the Disney Bluray / DVD "Two for £16...." has just returned.

So I decided to take a look at the films being included.....
I was horrified to see the new artwork! Are these really the new covers or is this some special edition/reversible cover? Any ideas?

What do people think of them? Do you like the rather blatant pattern in them?

I think this is all of them, but you can see then on Amazon.co.uk or any other UK retailers websites.

They are special limited edition slipcovers to promote the new 'classics numbering' designs and to promote the buy one get one free promotion. Underneath the slipcover they still have the old original cover art underneath. These are limited edition and will be gone after Christmas. They did it the other month with villain slipcovers.

These are Europe exclusive and will not be heading to the US.

I don't care for them, just a cheap gimmick to make slip collectors double dip as sales have dried up since there is no Disney Vault system in Europe.

I like Lady And The Tramp, Bambi. Fantasia, Dumbo and Pinocchio............ The rest I'd leave on the shelf (special edition covers or not)

Phew, if they are just slipcovers, are they numbering them too? I hadn't spotted that.
They are awful though, and tbh it puts me off buying them.

The Vault does apply in the UK, I presume it does in Europe too.

Yes they are numbered.

And no the vault does NOT apply in the UK or Europe. It was abolished last year hence why all those titles are available above. Name me one 'vaulted Disney classic' that you cannot obtain in the UK and you will see.

Snow White, Pinocchio, Aladdin, Bambi, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Peter Pan and Lady and the Tramp are all vaulted right? Nope! not in the UK as you have many pictured with the new covers above and are missing some:
