You can get them off itunes along with the rest of the source albums they come from. Look for "On the boardwalk" and "The Whistler and His Dog".
Thanks, but I should clarify that I was looking for the original CD...I don't ever purchase from iTunes...and it was a long time before I even realized it was Paragon Ragtime Orchestra. Once I did, I scooped the original CDs off their website. ;)

Ah, OK. I wasn't sure from your post if you had found them or not.

I for one love the new BGM. Slightly different versions of many of the original songs (haven't heard the entire loop yet to know if any are missing), and some added songs like "The Entertainer" which I love, and the theme from "Up!". Nice to hear something new, as with the old BGM track I could hear it play in my sleep....

When a new loop is made this well, I think it's fine to change them every 20 years or so (which was when they first changed the loop in the early 90s). The new one should please fans of the older loop since, as noted, many of the same songs are present with many tasteful new additons.

I also have no problem with using songs that are not period accurate (Hello Dolly and the like), so long as the arrangement is appropriate and the content overall is from the proper time period. I know this bothers others though.

What is the other piece of news you've been dreading?

News of a complete change to my favorite attraction. That's all I'm going to say. I don't even want any talk about it, no need to jinx things. The good news is there has been no serious talks or rumors about it, so it looks like for now it's safe.

I used to listen to the old Main Street loop, along with my collection of Future World and Tomorrowland BGM on loops at work and in the car. Takes me just far enough away from reality to make things tolerable.

But this also means I just about know them all by heart. I'll notice right away in November what's different about the new MK MSUSA loop. I hope they didn't go "contemporary" with it, you know, to make the "kids" associate with it (I'm looking at you, American Adventure costumes).

They didn't the most contemporary thing on it is the "Married Life" theme from UP and that sounds like it could be from the turn of the century.

Thanks for the list! Would you or someone else be able to put up the old list so we can compare?
