What is interesting is that they have already began placing "fill" in the site while they have not destroyed the building within. Makes you wonder if they will be keeping them for some unknown reason.
AS someone who knows civilen engineering, the compaction and quality of the soil when placed as "fill" (as is being done here) is very sensitive. The soil has to be tested for everything even down to moisture content (the soil will not dry once compacted and not tilled). I don't know why they would compact the soil all around the building to destroy it, which would mean they would have to retest all of the fill around the area possibly making them have to replace it.
Anyone know the plans for the building?
