Sorry if there's a thread about this... But I just got back yesterday and took my 2 year old on Finding Nemo at The Seas Epcot... I was preparing for the angler fish scene ( because it scares ME!) by covering my daughter's eyes a but when I noticed the fish seems to stay far away. I chalked it up to being lucky when I asked my husband who was riding the next clam over and he said the same thing. My figment? (Lol had too!)

That effect breaks pretty often. Lots of times it's in a much less dramatic/intense mode (like the Yeti a.k.a. broken), so you may have just gotten one of those times.

That is what I was thinking. While it has gotten better, the thing seems to go down an awful lot.

Oh no... thats two people who've reported being affected/scared on this ride. Is it time for Disney to rethink having it and should there be a movement to shut it down and replace it with a more peaceful, nonaggressive, non confrontational version???? :joyfull::joyfull:

I don't think it's broken. I thought it was turned off on purpose due to guest feedback. I think parents get upset because they ride Nemo assuming it's "safe."

I wish it would work anymore. My dads a robot and laser specialist, and loves anything anywhere with robots. His favourite was the robots welding the suv after test track, as that's literally what he does...

I was there yesterday... it's broken. The sound was working (and loud) but you could barely see the fish. It just sat there far away in the dark.

Someone really needs to ask a CM. I'm always disappointed when it's broken(along with all other attractions...) if someone asked them to stop it, I think that they shouldn't, it really ruins rides for me. Also, I'm bringing my friend this year, who has never been to a theme park, and I want him to experience the full attraction.

Its not turned off. its broken. It works sometimes, it doesn't work others. It was working just a few weeks ago when I was there. It was not working in March when I was there. Its been like that all along. It isn't turned off because of rider feedback.
