Need Air Info

I am thinking of going to WDW sometine in next few months, and I am wondering how the Orlando Airport is handling flights.
Are the lines long for departing Orlando for my trip back home??
Or would be best to drive?:veryconfu

From Syracuse...it may be better to fly. Orlandos airport is taking the same precautions as the rest..which mean you have to plan early..but it isnt TOO bad...

We just flew back to Detroit out of MCO on Dec 20. We had a 6:45pm flight and we were told to be at the airport at 3:45. There were no people in line at the ticket counter or at security. I had to go through the pat down search (I just look mean I guess) which took an extra 30 seconds. Then we had to wait at the gate for 2 hours to board the plane. Better safe than sorry I suppose.
