Need Advice! Labor Day Resort Help!

Hi everyone,
HELP!! I need some advice as to which resort to choose for an upcoming stay. I will be traveling for my first solo trip 9/3-9/8 and had originally planned to stay at AKL Jambo the whole stay. The itch to be close to Epcot is getting the better of me and I am leaning towards booking a room at either BWI or Yacht Club for 9/3-9/5 so that I can make use of International Gateway for early entry and for the Deluxe evening hours on 9/4. I will then be moving to AKL Jambo for 9/5-9/8. I am a big fan of the midday break for relaxing and drinks at the pool. The price difference between BWI and YC is less than $10 so that is not a factor. It would however be a savings of about $250 to stay at AKL the whole time ( which would go a long way towards sampling items at F&W). BWI has been our go to resort for the past 3-4 years so I am very familiar with that and the new rooms look great. YC is a resort that I have stayed at, but it was over 10 years ago so I am not very familiar there. Stayed at AKL for the first time in May and I think that it has become my new favorite. How do you think crowd levels at Stormalong Bay would be around Labor Day? Long lines for food and drinks at Hurricane Hanna's? I have heard some horror stories about wait times for food and drinks here and even capacity issues with entering Stormalong Bay. Sorry for the long post but I have been agonizing over this decision and need some help. Thanks in advance!

I would recommend Yatch & Beach Club.
Typically, Labor Day week is a slower time of year as most of the Northeastern areas here in the States are now back to school / college / work.
I often visit WDW that week and it does not seem overly crazy busy.

Since you are already familiar with Yatch & Beach and have stayed there before, all the better.

Hope you have a wonderful time.
I have been visiting WDW solo most of my life, and it is great to just do whatever you wish when you wish with nobody else to worry about.
Have fun!

Thank you for your input. I am leaning towards booking YC for something a little different than my typical BWI stay. Having access to Stormalong Bay for a couple of days will be very nice perk also.

I would stay at AKL the whole time. The pool at Kidani is almost like a jungle area and is so relaxing. Both Boardwalk and Yacht/Beach pools are very busy and loud. If you’re looking for relaxation during your breaks, AKL is it. We’ve stayed there twice, YC once and BW a handful of times. Had a great time everywhere, but felt most relaxed and “vacationed” at AKL (also WL but that’s another story for another day 🤣).

Thank you for the reply. I actually ended up booking everything yesterday and decided on Beach Club for the first couple of days in order to have easy access to Epcot (first time ever staying at Beach Club in well over 50 trips staying on WDW property) and then moving over to AKL for the last 4 days of the trip to finish up in a more relaxed setting. It was very hard to move away from Boardwalk since it is one of my favorites and I am eager to stay in the new rooms but I believe we will stay there in May. The idea of trying something new by choosing Beach Club won out in the end. This will leave only the Grand Floridian and Riviera to cross off the list and I will have stayed in all of the resorts on property.
