On our last trip to WDW we exchanged our paper APs for the new plastic cards which, I assume, contain the RFID chip (maybe not, I really don't know). We used our new AP cards at the park admission gates in the new machines (the Mickey ball).
For our upcoming trip we set everything up in MyDisneyExperience (resort reservation, dining reservations, annual passes, and FastPass+ reservations).
My question is, can we use our AP cards for the FastPass+ attraction admission (just like we use them for park admission) or will we be required to get the new wristbands and use those?
If we must have the wristbands, when and where do we get them?
I have heard that the wristbands can be used as resort room keys. Again, will our AP cards serve that purpose or do we have to use wristbands?
