On the Morning of Thursday April 23, 2009 I received a call from my girlfriend that our dog had passed away. Mongo was an awesome dog and will be missed

I know that he is in a much better place and is no longer suffering :)

I am so sorry to hear that. My dog is like a member of our family. He is also ill. I am dreading the day when he passes. I know it is difficult.

((Hugs)) I'm soooo sorry for your loss. Children or no children, our dogs are such a loving part of our families.

Our precious golden retriever was diagnosed with cancer 2 weeks ago, and has been given only a few short months to live. I can't imagine how we're going to handle that final visit to the vet. :(

We just had to put our cockapoo to sleep after she came down with a massive internal infection. She was only 5 and had never been sick before so it was quite a shock. A week in the doggie hospital, blood transfusions and lots of IVs. We finally said enough when her kidneys started shutting down. It's such a hard decision and this all happened right after we got back from our lovely trip to WDW. I'm so sorry about your pain.
