My 4yr old son's attraction creation

I of course enjoy theme parks and themed design a great deal and share that love with my children. We often watch attraction videos on our Roku, play RCT, and make our own themed creations with hot wheel tracks, wooden train sets, and a variety of other toys. We even do birthday parties with relatively strong DIY themes.

My son, Lincoln, is obseseded with the movie Up, referred to as the "balloon movie" in our house. His 4th birthday party was Up themed and he received a wooden Up house model as a late Christmas present. And now, Lincoln, my four year old, has devised his own Up attraction concept.

Without adding too much beyond his specs although articulated in a more sophisticated manner, the ride would be an actual, fully themed Up house that would be your ride vehicle. The house would be on a platform to simulate movement, and the riders would look out the windows onto a video screen surrounding the house, recreating major visuals and scenes from the movie.

I have felt Up would make a strong attraction, but never considered a concept quite like this. I think its a brilliant idea.

Curious what you guys think, and I'm sure Lincoln would appreciate feedback too.

I think it’s a great idea! I’ve never thought of it that way, maybe it could work a little better as a walkthrough with motion simulation where in each room the window showcases different scenes, rather than it being a ride vehicle as that would let you have a more immersive and more detailed version of the House, it’s a really great and interesting concept the one you child came up with, he has a future in imageneering! :D

Maybe I didn't explain myself well enough, but I think you are describing almost the same concept I was. It would be a fully themed house on a platform and would be a motion based attraction like the new MF ride. I had thought about allowing the riders to move freely throughout the house during the ride experience, but if there is motion involved this might not be a good idea, could lead to injuries.

To add onto my son's concept, each set of windows would be larger than normal and would have 10 to 20 seats that loosely resemble love seats, with the second row elevated like stadium seating. There would be different sets of seats throughout the house to allow for multiple, varied ride experiences. You could also possibly have different things throughout the house move or react during the ride experience like to simulate knick knacks falling during the storm, or the navigation system moving.
