Must-dos for Singles

I'm going to piggyback off @MCRRBA and ask what are some must-dos for singles? I'll be going solo on my Thanksgiving trip and I've definitely never been to the World alone before! So what are some things that are great to do on a solo trip? Things you might not necessarily get to do as a couple or family?

There's a Main Street Windows book?! Where?

BTW, you just gave me the idea of taking my Hidden Mickey book!

Also the hidden mickey book is a great idea!

I never get to slow down enough with the kids to look!

I have the hidden secrets book too and would love to walk through the lands and see what they are talking about!

Whatever you want. :)

That's the best part. My favorite part, I guess, is exploring the pavilions. Nobody ever wants to stand around in Morocco, looking at necklaces and stuff, reading the plaques. Alone, I can spend all the time I want when stopping to look at stuff.

You won't have to ride things you don't like. You don't even have to get out of bed, lol. If the alarm goes off and you feel like cutting it off, sleeping in and spending the late morning and afternoon at the pool, you can!

You get to do whatever you feel like doing. :)

I'd be lying if I said that didn't sound amazing ;)

I support what @luv was saying - just stop and actually READ/enjoy things. When I'm alone, I also like to resort hop and really explore all the detail. And then I like to make a pit stop at a bar/lounge I've never been to, grab a seat at the bar, try a new cocktail, and maybe strike up a conversation with the person next to me or the CM behind the bar.

If you've never been to Animal Kingdom Lodge, go and explore; it's beautiful. And Sanaa is one of the best restaurants on property.

Have fun!

Whatever you want and whatever interests you the most. Like @luv says, the possibilities are endless.

I always believe you know more about yourself than any other person, including your friends and family. So if a tour of the parks sounds something you'll like, go for it. If you're into photographing, photograph all the resorts and parks. If you're a foodie, dine at places that interest you and/or places you've never dined at. Every solo traveler always has a different must do list, including me.

Hop on the monorail. Visit the resort hotels. Purchase a drink at each one. Stop to admire the view and take photos.

You know, I never noticed this before but if you look at the photo of the Contemporary taken from Bay Lake Tower, Mickey Mouse is "mysteriously" hovering just underneath the monorail entrance. Turns out I was wearing a polo shirt with the Mickey Mouse logo on it and the logo is reflecting in the window. Not intended, but I like the "Hidden Mickey" effect.
