Hang in there, Nick.

His medical condition slipped downward a few days ago. However, status just updated this morning (May 22) to a little better. Hoping for a miracle for Mr. Cordero. He and his family have been through hell from this virus.

So, my production of Rock of Ages is opening 4 weeks from tonight. Original show dates- March 13-15.

How are we staying safe? Waivers, temperature checks at the door, masking in rehearsals, and cleaning everything we touch. Luckily, we don’t need to wear face shields for the shows, as we originally thought we would.

Audiences will be at half capacity, and we’re hoping to get streaming rights for one of our shows.

It is very odd to be rehearsing this show again, but I have missed live theatre dearly.

I get it, but this is so sad.

Support your local artists, theatres, and musicians, they’re hurting right now.

Notice that movies that go on Broadway there are in like flops!
Mean Girls, Hairspray, Anastasia, The Producers, Legally Blonde, Waitress and Newsies are pretty popular. As are Aladdin, The Lion King, and Mary Poppins. Beetlejuice may have closed, but it developed a massive fan base, and I’m curious to see how the tour goes next year.
