MSEP Troubles Tonight

Watched MSEP last night live on Periscope and it is looking quite rough. No Tinkerbell, little spinner floats missing and so on. A PAint thwe Night-esque replacement can't come soon enough. I love the MSEP as it is a classic but I think it's time to retire it. Another point of interest is that during the stream last night, the parade route was empty and it seemed pointless for them to even run it a second time.

I would not want something like PTN in MK. The parade seems disjointed and its character selection is questionable.

I'd rather see a new version of the MSEP or Spectromagic

If Tokyo gotten a new electrical parade which is basically would I like to call a "Remake" of MSEP but with newer floats and better character selection. Then I hope Disney can come up with something better for a brand new electrical parade for the 50th anniversary. I remember Spectromagic debuted for WDW's 20th Anniversary in 1991. Which is already making me eager for D23 in the next 5 or 6 years.

I would love to see a modernized Spectomagic! It was among my favorite things about MK, for sure. MSEP now is so sad. I last watched in November and it was about 6 random floats, and all together haphazard. I honestly would not mind PTN, because it looks so visually stunning, but MK deserves something new and unique, not a rehash.

Most unlucky I've been. I've had showings where floats were missing, but this was just bad show.

Sucks, sorry to hear that. I know what it's like to be excited all year to see my favorites at WDW and then being disappointed. For us it was the water pageant. For some reason, every time we saw it, there was an issue of some sort on our last trip..

Actually, the second day I was at MK this month it was raining all day, but the parade happened anyway, albeit delayed.
